Reporting of Sessions, Visitors, Pageviews, Search Terms Used
We are still at the stage where we have to request search statistics, and the data is somewhat limited in nature:
Currently, the two types of statistical overviews available are:
A count of all visits* to any page over the desired time period.
A count of all visits* to search results that were done over the desired time period.
*The reports don't call them visits; they are called visitors. No idea if they are unique visitors?
There are pageviews (down in lower right of screen shot) but support staff doesn't always include this information, seem to focus on just sending the number of visitors (not visits) and average time.
We would find it more useful if the reporting was similar to what we get for other products - sessions/visits, unique visitors, pageviews (like most website search reports) as well as what search terms and indexes are being used We do get # of searches and indexes searched under (and can then dig in to index search terms used) for the Classic WebPAC (via WMR), but we get none of this for Vega, which has been in use for 2 years at this point.
We need better reporting and the ability to fetch ourselves vs. having to put in a support ticket.

We just requested our first batch of monthly statistics and I agree that it would be best if we could retrieve these ourselves or better yet, schedule the reports we would like to receive. We have a number of kiosk sites in use and so what I received for the month is 34 PNG files (2 per site) which are screenshots of the summary of total searches and total visits. While it is interesting to see the graph of activity, it would be more useful to receive the data in a spreadsheet that would allow us to track and compare over time.
