Allow customers to add titles to multiple lists from search results/record page
Currently, customers need to add a title to one booklist and then open that booklist to add the book to a different list. Customers want to be able to add a book to multiple lists from the main screens.

Location filter needs to be alphabetical
Instead of having the location filter list location by number of available copies, please change to alphabetical order, so customers can more easily find the location they want in the same place every time.

Use Patron ID for Patron Account Information for linking customer accounts
Please use the patron record number for linking customer accounts so the link isn't broken everytime someone changes their barcode number, which happens all the time!

Annotate booklists and showcases
When adding books to a booklist, we want to be able to annotate the overall list and individual titles so that customers will know the purpose of the list and how the individual titles fit into that theme/purpose. Quick annotations definitely help people decide which titles they would like to borrow.

Add filter for circulating items
Our customers are repeatedly asking to be able to have a filter for including only circulating items (excluding reference materials). This is particularly useful for materials that are heavily collected in our Research Center and Resource Centers. If customers could limit to circulating, they could more easily find items they can check out, and we have received multiple requests for this feature.

Emailed booklists look like spam - need to customize
When you email a booklist to someone, it looks like spam. That email template needs to be customizable so it is recognizable as related to the library and a legitimate email.

Stop displaying old titles as "On Order" when all existing copies have been withdrawn
Currently, when there are no remaining items on a bib record, Discover shows the status of that title as "On Order," when in reality, it just needs to go through a variety of processes before it is suppressed or deleted from the catalog. The "On Order" status should only appear if there is an open order in Sierra for that title.

Incorporate Patron Assist stats into Vega Reports
With the release of Patron Assist, staff can now place and cancel holds for patrons directly within Vega Discover. To better understand engagement with this feature, we would like the ability to track its usage. We request that Patron Assist activity be incorporated into the Vega Reports framework.

Vega Reports: track users that leave Vega Discover to access an external third-party resource via resource URLs
Problem:
Our library spends a significant amount of staff time and resources ingesting and maintaining third-party MARC records (e-content providers, databases, and external links) into Vega Discover. Currently, we lack the visibility and metrics needed to determine whether this workload directly benefits our stakeholders or influences patron behavior. Objective
Track and quantify patron redirect events—specifically when a user clicks a URL within a resource record to leave Vega Discover for an external, third-party resource.Data Requirements (Desired Metrics & Dimensions)
The tracking solution should capture the following:Target Domains: The top-level domains patrons are redirecting to (e.g., overdrive.com, ebscohost.com).

Cover images displayed for saved searches in Account Portal should reflect newest content
We received feedback from a patron to say that the Saved Search view in Account Portal is not as helpful as the previous view since you cannot tell at a glance that there are new materials that meet the search criteria.
Previously, if a search was sorted by "newest first" you could see at a glance when new titles were added. With the current display in Account Portal, the latest title does not show up on top of the cover image view. A patron would have to run each search daily to see if there are any new titles and…

kids catalog book cover display
The kids homepage carousels force our covers into stretched and awkward sizes (see image). The adult page seems to (1) show the covers larger (2) has less space between titles and (3) adjust to their cover dimensions. The kids looks so jankity.

It would be helpful if clicking on an author's name would result in a list of titles by that author.
It would be helpful if clicking on an author's name in Vega would result in a list of titles by that author, in addition to the short synopsis currently associated with the author's name.

Suppress bib records with no available items
I have been cleaning up holds, and found a lot that have the "Display in PAC" box checked in the bib record because at one time that was a record that had items attached. Now the items are all withdrawn, missing, lost, etc., so the bib still shows up in Discover, but there are no items for patrons to place holds on. I'd love it if there was a way that Discover would look at the item status mapping settings, and if there are no items available on a bib, automatically suppress that bib. In the future if an item…

Decrease font size of customer information in Account Portal
Our customers are complaining that the customer information is too big in the Account Portal. They say it is too easy for other people to see when logging in on library computers and it requires them to scroll too much for other information. They are asking that we make that particular information smaller.

Allow other languages to be linked up
For example allow us to link up our website to automatically go to Spanish. We have a few spots on the website that are meant to link to the catalog in Spanish for ease of use of Spanish speakers. I can bring up Spanish language materials, but the catalog itself always defaults to English.

Better Error Message for Users Trying to Return OverDrive Kindle Titles
I'm not sure if it's possible, but it would be really helpful for users who try to check in an OverDrive title they have on Kindle to get an error message other than the general one that says to try again later. Titles that have been sent to Kindle need to be checked in through Amazon. Most of our patrons go through the Libby app, which gives them return instructions there, but we've had a few try to return these titles from their Vega account portal and are confused when they get an error.
