Email contact person when event registration is full
We have staff that would like to be alerted when an event has no registration spots remaining–event is full. It allows staff to determine if additional spots can be added, sometimes by a change of location or meeting space. An email alert to the event contact would be a great heads up without staff having to self monitor the registration list. (Especially with decentralized programming efforts (virtual and in-person) occurring for numerous programs a month.

Time in Room Calendars Should Reflect Set up and Clean Up Times
Currently, only the event time is shown in the room calendar. The set up and clean up times are not listed. We have had events, for example, that start at 5pm and end at 7pm, but that room is not available from 10am - 5pm due to setting up for a program. Staff cannot see that the room is not available until after they try to book it for their program or event. It would be helpful to have an event time as well as the set up and tear down listed in the room calendar separately. It would save…

Event Flyer - design options
We currently aren’t really using flyers because they are not appealing to the branches and patrons. We love the feature, but it doesn’t work for us. We would like to see the feature have options for us to be able to make the flyers more appealing.
Here are some of things we would like to possibly see in future updates:
• Options to change font size/style/color
• Flyer size option – half sheet or full page
• Our flyers have a lot of empty space – options to fill space or adjust space, move things around in flyer – resize…3 votes -
Option for library staff to get email notification when patrons register for events
Some of our staff prefer to be emailed every time someone registers for an event (vs. having to login to Vega, search the event name, and then check the registration list). We'd like to see this as an option to select on a per-event basis, based on staff preference for this. We find it a bit odd to get an email reminding us of the event (as the contact listed in the event creation form, but not have the option to be notified of registrations).

Reset passwords
Ability to reset all staff passwords at once. We change passwords twice a year, it would be nice to be able to reset all users at once.

Room calendar functionality with back button
When using the room calendar, and when you advance to a future month, then click into an event, when you click the back button it takes you all the way back to the current month instead of the month you were just looking at. Example: I advance the room calendar to June, click on an event to view it, click the back button when I'm done reviewing, it takes me back to March (current month). Could it take me back to June instead?

Offer option to bulk edit and delete room bookings
When locating all room bookings under the same name, offer an option to bulk delete them all, or several at a time. Currently, you have to go into each booking and delete from there. Examples of when this would be helpful would be when groups decide to cancel some or all events, need to change details, or when an error is made.

Delete user created meeting room layouts
Have the ability to delete and/or disable user created meeting room layouts. Currently, users with room management permissions can only create, edit and update. When we need to remove a layout either temporarily or permanently, there is no way for admin or users to do this.

Have the options that patrons can see a month view of when a room is available instead of the daily one when booking a room.

Add a way to turn off email notifications for room reservations
We'd like to start transferring our room reservations from our old calendar into Vega Program, but we'd like to do it without alerting the user to avoid confusion.

Remove Repeat Images in Feature Carousel
Currently, featured event images repeat in the carousel for events with multiple formats (hybrid) and multiple dates (recurring/series). For example, a hybrid event shows a featured image in the carousel twice, back-to-back, which looks like a mistake. And for events in a series or with multiple days, the images show as back-to-back are the same unless there are other program dates in between. It becomes repetitive.
In order to keep the carousel effective and organized, we can currently only feature one-off events, which is a missed opportunity.
It would be great if the event, no matter the format/recurrence, could be…

Responsive Calendar
The calendar view should be responsive and adjust to longer if there are many events taking place on a certain date, rather than cutting them off.

Change "registration" language
There are only options for "bookings required", "bookings not required" and "bookings handled off-platform". Both "bookings not required" and "bookings handled off-platform" ultimately shows as "no registration required" to patrons. When we choose to handle bookings off-platform, we are still requiring registration and the link is inside the body of the program description. Is there a way to change the verbiage so it doesn't say "no bookings required" for handling off-platform?

Booking Closing Options for Events Created Using "Add a new session"
We have been adding dates in an event series using the "add a new session" option (rather than using the "interval" tool). We have also set it up so that the person is expected to attend all the sessions and will only need to register once. We have noticed that, after a event series has begun, participants are not able to join the series from the waitlist if a spot opens up.
We would like the same options for when the booking closes to be available when we add multiple events in a series using the "add a new session"…

Partner Image file name shown during editing
When you go to edit an event/program entry the name of the partner image no longer shows. Instead the text displayed in the box says "No File Chosen." The image is still attached if you see the image icon, but the wording implies it is not there causing confusion. If the name of the file would still show up when you are editing an event, that would be helpful.

Waiting List Hyperlink from Fully Booked
Looking for the "Fully Booked" blue button on an event page to be editable and also hyperlink down to the waiting list on the same page, similarly to how the "Register Now" button does this for registration. When seeing "Fully Booked," most/all customers are unaware to scroll down to find a waiting list.

Staff announcement area on the staff side only
It would be nice to have an announcement area on the staff side. This could be used by library admin staff to post tickets submitted, so staff know we already reported the issue. We could also use it to highlight Idea Exchange items we want staff to vote on.

Multiple days equipment booking
If a library wants patrons to book an equipment for 7 days instead of 2 hours, the library currently needs to convert the days into minutes and make sure the availability is set for 24 hours. It would be a lot more ideal to have the booking available for multiple days instead of the minutes. brochure
It would be clearer if each event on the brochure listed the date above it. As it is, if two events are happening on the same date, the second event is printed without the dateline above. This looks like an omission and is very confusing, especially when the two events are in different columns. The second event is also spaced quite a bit below the other event and they do not appear grouped together. I don't think patrons will understand.
