Open social media links in their own app
The social media links open in the browser vs. directing to the app (if the user has said app installed on their device). Is there a way we can default to have it open in the IG app (and only redirect to the web version if they do not have it installed)? I see this as possibly being a confusing re-direct as app users may not be logged in ever from their phone's browser. Is it possible if we could use a link to redirect a user from the mobile app to the library's social media profile within the social…

Add Most Popular Sort for search results
It would be nice to be able to sort by "Most popular" after running a search.
7 votesThe default sort is relevance based on hits in key indexes on the search terms. It would be a confusing experience for the end user if their search results were automatically sorted by 'most popular' by default. A post search sort for 'most popular' however would make sense and can be explored.

Add different color options for the three types of homescreen buttons
With the new app layout, the "Homescreen button" colors in the CMS now affect three different types of buttons: (1) the item alert buttons (overdue, due soon, ready for pickup), (2) the barcode and mobile checkout buttons, as well as (3) the main menu buttons.
It would be nice if these were three separate settings, so you could choose different treatments for each of these three button types.
For instance, since the overdue alert button gets the "Notice button" colors from the CMS, it would make sense for the other alert buttons to also have a (neutral) background color to…

Change menu glyph from bars (hamburger) to user (account)
The current hamburger menu opens an account menu, rather than the overall app menu. Changing the glyph from the bars glyph (https://fontawesome.com/icons/bars?f=classic&s=regular) to a user glyph (https://fontawesome.com/icons/user?f=classic&s=solid) would make it clearer that this is how you access your library account.
The menu link is located in the upper right of the app, which is a common place for an account link to go. And when you open this menu, there's already a round user avatar that appears at the top of the account menu. Swapping out the bars glyph for a user glyph would feel totally…

Configurable glyphs for barcode and mobile check buttons
Allow libraries to select different glyphs to use next to the barcode and mobile check features.
For instance, for the library card, instead of a credit card (https://fontawesome.com/icons/credit-card?f=classic&s=light), an id card (https://fontawesome.com/icons/id-card?f=classic&s=light). For the mobile checkout, instead of a shopping cart (https://fontawesome.com/icons/cart-shopping?f=classic&s=light), a barcode (https://fontawesome.com/icons/rectangle-barcode?f=classic&s=light).
This would allow libraries to maintain branding currently in place and provide continuity across different web properties.

Self Check Receipts should disappear off the account over time
The Innovative Mobile app currently holds onto all successful and unsuccessful self checkout attempts as "receipts". The receipts are in the My Account area and can very much add up to being a lot of entries over time. It would be less cluttered and better if the self checkout receipts retained were only kept for 7-14 days and then disappeared off of the account. Ideally, a patron could also delete unsuccessful self checkout attempts off the account right away.

More filtering options
Offer more filtering options when doing a search in the mobile app. It would be helpful to include a filter for children's, young adult, or adult materials as well as language filtering.

List reading/checkout history as an option under Profile
On behalf of Riverside County Library: List reading/checkout history as a bullet point under Profile (along with holds, fines, linked accounts, etc.). If patrons don't currently have items checked out, they don't think to look under Checkouts for their reading history.

Include Item Fixed Field 108 (OPACMSG) in the full record display of the app
In our consortium, libraries often use item field 108 OPACMSG to indicate NEW or other information that helps patrons find titles within their library. In the app, in a full record display, that information is not available. Could Innovative work with Solus to pull in that field using the Rest API or by another means? It would shed light on titles and reduce confusion with patrons. (As an aside, this same field could be added to the initial brief display within the Mobile Worklists app as well).

Enable a "low bandth" option to remove enriched content
Some of our service areas require low bandth width options. It would be good to be able to toggle between "full images" and a "low bandth" option.
