   I agree. Sometimes the change we need to make is very complex and can't be easily done through a bulk change. It would be nice to just put non-similar items together in a record set and just indicate we need it indexed without making a change to the record and then putting it back.

   This is something we manually do for our patrons to show value in them having and using their library card. It would be nice it this could be done simply through a pre-built report/email.

    We use this feature as a way to communicate something to the patron that is not time sensitive and doesn't warrant a call but they may want to know.

    A reference librarian role for staff users is being designed and considered for future development.

    
    

    In the meantime, Vega recognizes the override password that is configured for Organization ID 3 (and only this configuration) in Polaris if you want to continue using this feature in Vega Discover.
