Enter manual patron notifications (esp calls) into the Notifications History
Calls to a patron to notify them of books on hold can't be added to Polaris.
It would be especially helpful if we could manually add notifications (even if we manually email a patron) and the appropriate reason/time into the notifications history. I've seen a "dated notes" suggestion here but don't feel these are the same.
In accordance with the Idea Graduation Workflow guidelines agreed upon by Innovative and IUG, this idea has been closed because it was submitted more than two years ago and has not been selected for inclusion in the product.

This would be a nice feature! Especially for damaged/missing parts situations where the automatic notification can't be detailed enough to be informative to a patron, it's more efficient just to call them then to send the automatic notice and wait for them to call back. It'd be great if these calls could be noted in the same place as other notifications.
