  1. The "limit to..." filter allows you to limit your search to titles associated with a library. Similar to how Encore worked, this is of no use to our customers because the item could be checked out or checked in. Vega Discover finally introduced a filter of "on the shelf", and this is needed in the Innovative Mobile.

  2. When a patron arrives for a curbside pickup there is an audible notification that sounds on the circulation computer. This is often not heard due to other noise in the area. An option to set this notification to repeat until acknowledged would be very helpful so that patrons are not missed when they come for pickup.

  5. Allow libraries to select different glyphs to use next to the barcode and mobile check features.

    For instance, for the library card, instead of a credit card (https://fontawesome.com/icons/credit-card?f=classic&s=light), an id card (https://fontawesome.com/icons/id-card?f=classic&s=light). For the mobile checkout, instead of a shopping cart (https://fontawesome.com/icons/cart-shopping?f=classic&s=light), a barcode (https://fontawesome.com/icons/rectangle-barcode?f=classic&s=light).

    This would allow libraries to maintain branding currently in place and provide continuity across different web properties.

  6. When searching for an item, we want customers to see right on the results page if that item is available and where. This is buried in the actual title at the very bottom of the screen, and people have a hard time finding it. It also helps people narrow their search without having to click into every single record to see if and where the item is available.

  7. Customers want to know much more information than just the description for media items. Who are the contributors, is there closed captioning or subtitles, what is the rating of the movie? This is all available in the desktop but almost no information is available for this format in the app.

  8. Currently there is a single language string, "HomePage_BarcodeExpireSoon" that governs the orange notification on the home screen for patrons with accounts 'expiring soon.' Admin settings allow you to set when this popup appears and I think it's anything from 30 days to 0 days before the patron's expiration date. However, the same text continues to appear for a patron whose registration is expired, so you can't use "your account is expiring soon" because that gives an expired patron the impression that their account is not yet expired.

    There should be one language string for 'expiring soon' and a separate one…

  9. A suggestion to increase Widget Functionality with the Ida app. Some patrons use a lot of widgets, and would find it very useful if there was the option to use a widget with Ida that displayed the barcodes linked in the App (and ideally checkouts, and due dates, but barcode(s) at least).

  10. Currently when you start a new session, you can either view what you have on loan or type an ISBN number, it would be nice to give patrons the capability to scan the ISBN of a book they have in their hand.

  14. Sometimes users that live in the tax area (municipality, etc) of library A sign up for their card at library B. In this case, the registered at library is B, and the stat code is A. The stat code controls access to Overdrive and the like-services paid for by library A. We would like the app, after sign in, to select the library it display based on stat code, rather than registered at

  15. Grove for Libraries has introduced a product in collaboration with Ingram for enriched content, including covers. This option is not currently available for Vega Mobile. Perhaps it can replace Content Cafe in the interface?

  16. With the Vega Program integration, it seems like the patron must have already booked in for an event or room reservation for the account menu to display "Bookings" and "Room Bookings." It would be nice to for those items to be persistent if the integration is enabled or for the library to toggle on/off. I would also expect a link to be able to access new events and room bookings from the menu, instead of just viewing history.
