  4. When a saved block is edited, we would like it to automatically update any templates using that saved block rather than having to go to each template and re-add the updated block to each template one by one.

  5. There needs to be a Merge Tag which coincides with Renewals Remaining. I'm told that the current Merge Tag only applies to Renewals Used.

  6. The key functional feature of the notice templates are merge tags. When sending a test message, the most important thing you would want to be testing is whether merge tags are displaying correctly. However, since dummy data is used in the test notices, the test notices don't allow you to assess if your merge tags are working or not. It would be really nice if test emails could be sent with data pulled from the customer's ILS so we could see if our merge tags were working.

  7. The bill currently shows the total amount owed (sum). They should also display the individual item costs included in the bill.

    Make it an option to also include the item cost in the overdue notice as well (incentive to return!).

    In our date due slips (JasperSoft) we include the cost of each item and a total cost to show what the patron saved by using the library vs. buying.

  8. We've ran into difficulties trying to progressively clean up our bounces. Staff have to keep a google sheets to know what things have been corrected (unless they keep leap open as well and see if the patron has the "edited" in the notes). Would it be possible to evaluate some way to better manage the clean ups?

    One idea offered was a check box for Resolved (Thanks Amy Al-Shabibi)

  11. Currently, the Notice Activity log only displays delivered or bounced and you have to click into the patron information to see what stage the notice is at. Instead of just delivered also indicate opened or clicked.

  13. We should be able tailor the notices to go out to certain item type or loan rules. Ex: certain notices go out to students who check out Interlibrary Loan

  14. LX Starter is a massive improvement over our traditional Polaris notification emails, but the one piece we are running into is our library's branding colors become quite distorted in dark mode. With our website we have control over this and we would like the ability to do the same with LX Starter since it seems common place on mobile devices.

  16. LX Starter has only one scheduler for seven days. Add the ability to have a weekday scheduler (Monday – Friday) to send queued notices and a separate weekend scheduler to send queued notices at different times.
    Example: Weekdays Monday through Friday Library sends out notices 9:00am through 8:00pm on Weekends Saturday & Sunday Library sends out notices 10:00am through 6:00pm.

  17. Right now the links in the notices look like this - which is something I would never click on and I suspect our patrons feel the same. Please make the URL not look like a fake link.

  18. The notices function is very useful, but limited. We are only able to communicate with patrons through Sierra on a few occasions. It would be wonderful to be able to send/print notices based on a review file. This way, we could communicate with patrons via Sierra for numerous reasons. My inspiration for this is to send notices just before a patron library account expires. Previously, we haven't had a standardized way to alert patrons to their impending expiration.

    Sending notices to this effect would prevent service disruptions, promote patron retention, and promote good-will among patrons.
