Sierra User Accounts - Globally Apply Options, Settings & Preferences
Make the management of Options, Settings and Preferences operate the same way as Applications, Permissions, Workflows and User Groups, where you can drag and drop users, making it easier to set these globally.
Today I had to disable the cover images being displayed in all of our user accounts. Had to click in one-by-one, go to their Settings > Display and uncheck the box, "save," and do this for over 50 user accounts. It would be so much easier if I could have just selected/dragged all our users over to this setting, much like I do for permissions, etc.
While it's fine to still allow users to set this on their own, in the SDA or SierraWeb, we need a quick way to globally apply changes vs. relying on staff to update their settings (they don't).
Idea Value
Save staff time, especially when applying account level changes system-wide, by job title or specific location/department.
This idea has been reviewed with Engineering. The architecture of the Admin App makes this idea difficult to implement. Product Management will archive this idea for future reference.

@Jeremy - If we could at least have it working for items that don't accept free text, etc., like the cover images, that would be great. By the way, my vote for this (I think I originally submitted) would be "Nice to Have," which isn't an option. I feel that there is a wide gap between "Not at all" and "Important."

I like this feature in theory but am not sure how it would work for settings that are not a binary option. Within the settings and options menus there are many features that require an additional selection or accept free text inputs and I don't see those working within the drag and drop framework.
