Batch/Copy Option for Patron Record Creation
Someone at CHPL is suffering from Polaris envy & suggested Sierra offer a comparable record to copy/duplicate patron records. They're hoping for a way to speed up the record creation process for families of 5 or 6 that visit the library together & all need to register for cards, which is apparently not an uncommon scenario. The ability to quickly replicate certain fields (address, home library, maybe phone, e-mail, etc.) from one record for x more should facilitate that.

I know our member libraries would appreciate the ability to duplicate cards for the same household quickly.

When we use "copy record" we would like all of the fields in the original record carried over, but would like to select which of those will appear blank.
For example - when we register a child, we copy the adult card. We need to include the following fields below in the child's record, but we want them to be blank fields. Right now, staff have to manually select each of these fields even though most are fairly common to a patron record.
