Separate physical and digital checkouts and holds in MyBookshelf
Users would like to see physical materials listed separately from digital materials in Checkouts and Holds lists, or the ability to filter your list to see only physical or only digital checkouts/holds.

The ability to sort the holds in My Bookshelf by format would be one possible solution.

Patrons who have a lot of holds - especially a combination of digital and physical items - find it difficult to quickly sort through their holds to see where they are and what is ready for them. Many patrons (and staff!) have requested a way to filter their holds to see just digital or just physical items.

This is something our customers have asked for and would be a great idea to bring to fruition.

In our scenario the intent for limiting physical items is different than the intent of limiting digital, and so the two should be discrete. Wherever limts and how the limits are imposed, the patron should have that information at hand to understand what resources they would prioritize.

For libraries that limit the number of items a user may borrow at one time, this would make it easier for patrons to count what they currently have out to determine if additional checkouts are permitted.

This would be very helpful. I noticed this issue when we first went live and submitted an enhancement request then (via the roadmap enhancement) and never heard anything about it.

I just ran into this myself, and really wanted to separate my digital content (which will return itself!) from the physical content (which I need to find and return before a due date!) I'm sure this is a common occurrence for patrons.
