2 Factor Authentication for LX Starter
Users with Super Admin or Consortium Super Admin roles will have the option to enable 2 factor authentication for all users or no users.
When 2 factor authentication is enabled, it will require all users to go through an additional security step in order to login (for example: entering a code sent to the user's email address).

Add notices for Interlibrary Loan
Add notices for Interlibrary loan to LX Starter. Patrons are commonly ignoring ILL pickup notices. A flashier email might grab their attention.

library_name, library_address, branch_name & branch_address available in all Notices
I was informed by support that the new Fines, Bills & Fines, and Manual Fines available in the Sierra version of LX Starter do not allow the use of the merge tags "libraryname, libraryaddress, branchname and branchaddress." There might be other merge tags also not available in these notices. Support said, "the new notice types differ from the original ones in that they do not support the libraryname and libraryaddress merge tags. The product team decided to change the merge tag design when implementing the new notice types. This is an intentional design decision…

Branch Phone Number Merge Tag
If possible, I would like to see a merge tag for a branch's phone number. Right now, I have a link to our locations page with the contact info, but it would be nice to be able to put the branch phone number on the notice so patrons don't have to go to a different page to get it.

Include MANY more patron fields as Merge Tags
Looking through the available merge tags, I see very few fields from the patron record represented: First name, last name and patron barcode. When I attended webinars on LX Starter many months ago, I could swear the audience was told that all fields exposed to the print templates interface would likewise be available in LX Starter.
Having read the Idea Exchange post https://ideas.iii.com/forums/951985-lx-starter/suggestions/46813306-take-a-good-hard-look-at-patrons-data-privacy-in, it is clear that many of these patron record fields are being passed through to LX Starter, so please make them available for merging and/or to drive conditional logic (which is a whole 'nother suggestion).

Add option to use patron's preferred name in notices
Currently LX Starter uses the "n" field in Sierra to pull patron first name. Some patrons want to be addressed by their preferred name, not their legal name. Our library would like to offer this more personalized experience, so it would be good if there were a choice in which merge tag LX Starter uses for names.

Add text before the patron's name - depending on their patron type.
We would like to have the ability to add text before the patron's name - depending on their patron type. Right now we use Putty path AASOC #072 to call a message for our children's cards that reads " To the parent or guardian of", we would like that same functionality in LX starter.

Add the ability to schedule Notice Content
We are beginning to add featured content to hold pickup notices and would like the ability to draft and schedule content blocks, similar to the way content rows can be scheduled to display on the Vega Discover Home Page.
For example, allow us to schedule a particular Showcase block to be included at the bottom of the Hold Pickup notice from April 1 to April 30 and have this automatically update to include the content scheduled for May 1 to May 31.
It would also be great to be able to save and schedule design blocks (including an image and…

Ability to add read-alike recommendations to notices
When a patron receives a hold notice it would be nice if we can include a block that would pull read-alike titles that are currently available within our catalog.
End goal would be they can choose to either click on title and place hold which might also be pulled and ready by the time they arrive for original notice item. Or when they come in to get their hold they may choose to go search that book out as well.

Regionalize alphanumeric date format in multilingual notices
Currently, LX Starter uses a single date format "across all notice emails". However, libraries sending multilingual notices may require alphanumeric dates which are tailored to the correct regional format on a per-language basis.
In Canada, for example, dates are rendered in French as "le 11 septembre 2023" and in English as "September 11, 2023" rather than "September 11th, 2023" as currently configurable in LX Starter.
While it is possible to use the "yyyy-mm-dd" numeric format as a workaround, LX Starter also suppresses the month's leading zero (i.e., "2023-9-08") which also conflicts with the bilingual numeric date format prescribed for use…

Additional Languages Stats
We have released additional language templates for patron notifications and would like the ability to view these in Performance Stats. It would be helpful if a filter could be added to the Notice Activity Log to view the number of notices sent in English, Spanish, Chinese, and other languages.

Let users other than admin can see the details of the notice related to which items
In the current setting, only super admin and admin can see the details of each notice already sent. The other level of the user can only see when the email is sent, delivered and open. Sometimes the patron has an argument of what notices we sent or not, we need to see the details, which item related to which email notices. we need a read-only user to have that function. I cannot see why this is sensitive information, it is not personal privacy information of which titles related to the notices.

Activity Log Sorting
This is a very minor cosmetic request, but I'd appreciate it if the 'Show x per page' drop down in the Notice Activity Logs could appear at the top of the page instead of or in addition to the bottom.
We have enough bounced messages daily that we inevitably have to select 'show 50 per page' or 'show 100 per page,' & it would be nice to not have to first scroll to the bottom of the page to set that view option.

Display actual status on Notice Activity Log page
Currently, the Notice Activity log only displays delivered or bounced and you have to click into the patron information to see what stage the notice is at. Instead of just delivered also indicate opened or clicked.

Provide information for notices that "failed to send"
We randomly see days when certain notices (hold pickup, courtesy, etc.), will show a "failed to send" with no information provided. No patron name, barcode, etc. (to see if they previously marked as spam) - no way to resend and no information. We alert support but they can't seem to tell us anything, no pattern and no information in the backend for them to review.
Please provide some more details on why notices fail to send.

Mask Patron Barcodes in LX Starter
Mask all patron barcodes throughout LX Starter.
Only Super Admin, Admin, and Consortium level user roles can unmask the barcode while viewing a patron record.
For all other roles barcode will remain masked and there will be no way to unmask it.

Allow for multiple "audiences" so that we can use different language when communicating with different patron types.
Our library uses different language when communicating with faculty versus students, and we would like the functionality to break up the audience into groups based on patron type. Ideally, we would then be able to have notices that are specific to each audience group.
