  1. Right now the links in the notices look like this - which is something I would never click on and I suspect our patrons feel the same. Please make the URL not look like a fake link.

  2. Currently, I look at Notice Activity for each day to track how many notices of each type are sent, delivered, bounced, etc. I record this in excel for reference.

    It would be wonderful to receive a daily report of activity by email or to be able to schedule a report to be emailed at a desired interval (ie. daily/weekly/monthly).

  4. The ability to retry sending a notice after you update an email address. I deal with student patron records. We send all notices to the students email accounts - however, after they are no longer a student there student email is shut off. However, many if not all of them have alternative email addresses in their student records. So we could resend the notice to the alt-email.

  5. Limit the number of soft bounces to 2 and then it becomes a hard bounce. Patrons with email soft bounces, are not getting any notifications. Hold Notices are negatively effecting our customer service since patrons only have 5 days to pick up the item and they are not receiving the notice. The suggestion to manually monitor and update bounced emails is time consuming and requires daily staff time which is already limited. When larger library systems move to LX Starter, this could be potentially thousands of emails to monitor.

    Please consider limiting soft bounces ASAP.

  6. Add the ability to create a template specifically for repeated bills. This would allow us to send a different message for a reminder bill than what we sent in the original bill. This is would be similar to how we are able to create different templates for 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc Overdue Notices.

  8. Our library offers multiple languages, it would be efficient and a better UX experience to create folders that the user can then go in and create blocks tailored to it.

    For organization, it would make sense to create a folder- ex. Spanish blocks > add/create all spanish content blocks.

    The design blocks doesnt have a search function, so I have to go through and find what it is I'm looking for.

  11. It would be really helpful to be able to copy notice templates between libraries in a consortium environment or between branches within a library. In our consortium, libraries use a basic template with agreed upon text created at the consortium level. I have to recreate that same template multiple times for each library jurisdiction to customize, which is time-consuming and fraught with potential human errors. It would also save a lot of workload when a customized a template could be shared amongst all our members - less reinventing the wheel and more opportunity to learn and benefit from super-users who…

  13. In Activity history in the LX Starter dashboard, also display which email address a notice was sent to.

    It would be helpful to see which email address a notice was sent to. The patron may have recently changed their email address and troubleshooting notices would be easier if you could see this history.

  14. Currently, the email notification that is sent to our designated library email box only list the email address of the patron that has the bounced notice. Please add at least the patrons name and barcode. Adding a copy of the entire notice would be better

  15. Currently, it seems the Notice Activity Logs page can only be sorted by the Time Sent column. I would like the ability to sort by any of these columns, especially patron name or barcode. This would allow us to see all of this type of notice that was sent to a particular patron when they report problems receiving LX Starter notices.

  17. Separate the permission out that allows staff to change the timing of notices in a consortium, as this should be set at the system level and remain consistent system-wide. Staff should be able to design and manage notices without needing this permission.

We have received feedback from patrons regarding post-introduction of LX Starter, and one common complaint is that the new emails do not display the complete details of all items currently checked out on their account. While this change appeared logical to most patrons, as they only receive notifications for items requiring action, some individuals are still dissatisfied that we no longer send the full account information with each notification.
