  1. It will be beneficial to all Library ‘s, if LX Starter has the threads icon in social media platforms available for use in all notices.

  2. Currently, the notices for Current Checked Out Items allows for daily or weekly scheduling, but it would be handy to have the ability to set this at a longer time frame such as monthly, quarterly or by semester as most of our materials check out for much longer periods of time (16 weeks or longer generally), and some users find the weekly reminders tedious.

Either the option to set the automated notices to a longer time period, or the ability for patrons to choose a longer reminder period (opt in to weekly, monthly, etc notice) would be very helpful.

  3. Since Sierra permits libraries to define an alternative variable-length field tag to reference for the patron email address – see attached Admin Corner screenshot – LX Starter should either follow the same customization or at least permit its redundant definition in the LX Starter configuration.

As much as we would like to switich to LX Starter for notices, we cannot move forward until the product supports this same customization.

To be clear, we DO still store conventional patron email addresses in the z - Email field, but if the patron also/instead wishes to receive SMS notices via an SMS-as-email service,…

  5. Particularly important to consortia who have many staff to onboard...

It would be great to customize the staff login welcome with links to documentation, local contacts and urls.

  6. A few suggestions:

    1) Allow customizable colors using the swatch in 'Icon Type' so we can better match our theme
    2) Remove the Tinder icon
    3) Add a Podcast icon

  7. We would love to have the option to build into patron notices the 'You saved' amount similar to the receipt options.
You just saved [Value] by using your library. You have saved [YTDValue] this past year and [LifetimeValue] since you began using the library!

  8. We are beginning to add featured content to hold pickup notices and would like the ability to draft and schedule content blocks, similar to the way content rows can be scheduled to display on the Vega Discover Home Page.

For example, allow us to schedule a particular Showcase block to be included at the bottom of the Hold Pickup notice from April 1 to April 30 and have this automatically update to include the content scheduled for May 1 to May 31.

It would also be great to be able to save and schedule design blocks (including an image and…

  9. We have of released additional language templates for patron notifications and would like the ability to view these in Performance Stats. Maybe adding a filter in the Notice Activity Log to view how many notices were sent in English, Spanish, Chinese and so on.

  10. It would be helpful for our system to have a reminder notice similar to patron registration expiration. We want to be able to send a notice yearly for patrons to come in ad update their address and contact information. Many of our libraries want to offer long term library card privileges, therefore patrons wouldn't get the expiration notices regularly.
