This "suitable editions" message is really confusing to patrons. We'd love to edit this message to offer a more obvious error reason that is self-explanatory (as opposed to one that causes them to ask us and also confuse our staff). Hopefully, this message is not used in more than one context.

We've received a large number of comments about the inability to see remaining renewals, but one of our patrons in particular has given us great feedback about why this feature is so useful and how they use it:
"I'm not someone who complains every time something changes, but these new changes are interfering with the way I usually use my account. Most importantly is that I can no longer sort my checkouts list by number of renewals. The only options are by due date and by title. I have sorted my checkouts by number of renewals almost every time I've ever looked at the list. I don't care when the due date is, I care how many renewals are left on an item. When deciding a new book to start from my stack, I look at which one has 0 renewals left so I can make sure to get it read before it has to go back. The due date isn't really relevant if there are renewals left."

This functionality would be so useful and extremely helpful for patrons. While I personally find Bookmarks very useful as a holding tank for titles I want to explore later, other people use their lists differently. A sizable portion of patrons expect to use their lists as a finding aid for their next library trip. I believe this is especially true of teachers, students, parents, or anyone who will be visiting the library to find and check out a list of titles in one fell swoop.
It would be great to have a special "Find It" view that allows patrons to view and print a list with collection, shelf location, and item call numbers (either the first call number or or--even better--a list of all item call numbers per title that are on the shelf). The ability to sort this list would also be helpful.

Wow, a fix for this issue is critical for accurate searching since not many patrons would think to remove the comma. I agree that this request seems more like it should be logged as a bug.
