Addition of Block Notice Type
Our library makes considerable use of the Manual Block field in Sierra. Beyond the Collection block, which patrons are more than made aware of through our initial notification process & then later, by our materials recovery partner, Unique Management, we have Manual Blocks for things like lost cards, bad addresses, etc.

Flexible Location User Access
The current user management in LX Starter only allows users to access either a single location or ALL of the locations. This is insufficient for a consortium where users frequently need access to multiple locations. Administrators must grant users access to all locations, creating unnecessary permissions that increase security risks. Ideally, we are giving users access to the locations that they are responsible for.

Copy notice templates between libraries
It would be really helpful to be able to copy notice templates between libraries in a consortium environment or between branches within a library. In our consortium, libraries use a basic template with agreed upon text created at the consortium level. I have to recreate that same template multiple times for each library jurisdiction to customize, which is time-consuming and fraught with potential human errors. Add the ability to schedule Notice Content
We are beginning to add featured content to hold pickup notices and would like the ability to draft and schedule content blocks, similar to the way content rows can be scheduled to display on the Vega Discover Home Page.
For example, allow us to schedule a particular Showcase block to be included at the bottom of the Hold Pickup notice from April 1 to April 30 and have this automatically update to include the content scheduled for May 1 to May 31.

Additional Languages Stats
We have released additional language templates for patron notifications and would like the ability to view these in Performance Stats. It would be helpful if a filter could be added to the Notice Activity Log to view the number of notices sent in English, Spanish, Chinese, and other languages.

Let users other than admin can see the details of the notice related to which items
In the current setting, only super admin and admin can see the details of each notice already sent. The other level of the user can only see when the email is sent, delivered and open. Sometimes the patron has an argument of what notices we sent or not, we need to see the details, which item related to which email notices. we need a read-only user to have that function. I cannot see why this is sensitive information, it is not personal privacy information of which titles related to the notices.

More granular permissions
Separate the permission out that allows staff to change the timing of notices in a consortium, as this should be set at the system level and remain consistent system-wide. Staff should be able to design and manage notices without needing this permission.

Improve notice Performance link click data
Now that we are adding some additional marketing content to Hold Pickup Notices, it would be helpful to improve the data on the Performance tab for the notice. Currently, there is a massive list of links with the number of people and clicks next to each. This list seems to be for all time so it is difficult to guage the affectiveness of a specific version of the notice template. Force clear scheduled notice
Occasionally, an notice gets stuck in "scheduled" status in LX Starter even though, if you open the individual notice, you can see that it actually was sent. This issue was common prior to November 2024. Innovative made a change since then that seems to have drastically reduced the frequency of this problem, but when this does happen, it would be nice to have the functionality to be able to manually reassign the notice to one of the other notice categories (failed to send, delivered, etc.). Ability to add read-alike recommendations to notices
When a patron receives a hold notice it would be nice if we can include a block that would pull read-alike titles that are currently available within our catalog.
End goal would be they can choose to either click on title and place hold which might also be pulled and ready by the time they arrive for original notice item. Or when they come in to get their hold they may choose to go search that book out as well.

Consortia Notices critically needed in LX Starter
Help your consortia friends and vote - please!
In Sierra consortia have the ability to send notices across all locations. This is a critical service used daily. Large consortia that spread across large geographical areas use system holds to meet local demand. This means a patron may have a title that has been provided by a library they never stepped foot in or may not even heard of. Seeing an email that hails from an unkown entity looks like spam. A message from the library system has a fighting chance of getting opened.

LX Starter More options for Bounced Emails
Would be nice to have the option to set parameters for hard bounced emails in LX Starter. For example, set the note in the patron record to a blocking note and check the exclude from email notices box to avoid repeated hard bounces of the same email. This would save staff time.

Include perioidical issue information in overdue notices
We had a patron complaint that the email notices do not include magazine issue information, only the main title. The notices also do not include item barcodes, so there isn't any data to match against a specific issue. Could information from the Issue field in the item record be displayed in overdue notices?

Address Check Date reminder notice
It would be helpful for our system to have a reminder notice similar to patron registration expiration. We want to be able to send a notice yearly for patrons to come in ad update their address and contact information. Many of our libraries want to offer long term library card privileges, therefore patrons wouldn't get the expiration notices regularly.

Add Navigation Back to Consortium Settings in Account Dropdown
As a consortium admin, there is no direct way to navigate back to the consortium settings after entering the library settings. Instead, you have to have the consortium settings bookmarked or go to the URL and delete the library from the URL. It would be helpful if a Consortium Settings option was added to the account dropdown menu.

Send a daily summary of Notice Activity
Currently, I look at Notice Activity for each day to track how many notices of each type are sent, delivered, bounced, etc. I record this in excel for reference.
It would be wonderful to receive a daily report of activity by email or to be able to schedule a report to be emailed at a desired interval (ie. daily/weekly/monthly).

Add templates accessible by consortia libraries
In addition to adding an option to send notices consortia-wide, it would also be helpful to be able to create notice templates for consortia members that could be lightly customized by each library.

2 Factor Authentication for LX Starter
Users with Super Admin or Consortium Super Admin roles will have the option to enable 2 factor authentication for all users or no users.
When 2 factor authentication is enabled, it will require all users to go through an additional security step in order to login (for example: entering a code sent to the user's email address).
