An error occurred while saving the comment Laurie Shedrick commentedInnovative's mobile product should better embrace their flagship discovery platform. Using mobile is a step back without that. We are actively engaging staff to promote Vega Discover's features.

An error occurred while saving the comment Laurie Shedrick commentedPatrons who are looking for specific elements in a record require more details within the edition view. For some, these are critical distinctions.

An error occurred while saving the comment Laurie Shedrick commentedOur consortia shares loan rules, so across the system we have loan rules that support a single Overdue followed by a bill. We are not using overdue 2-6, yet they are a part of the menu, creating clutter for one thing, but they also seem to have to be populated. This is not an efficient approach.
Other notice options exist that we simply dont use, mostly because they really aren't consortia friendly, so it would be good to remove them from view

An error occurred while saving the comment Laurie Shedrick commentedTremendously important for consortia to control the view. We want patrons who can check out to see the oppprtunity, but a dead end because your library doesnt have a resource is not the experience anyone would find appropriate in our consortia.

An error occurred while saving the comment Laurie Shedrick commentedWe are relying on these links to point member library access to seperate accounts for eresources. It is critical that patrons can identify their library within multiple urls - without text in place that becomes difficult. The URL does not always carry the actual recognizable name for a library. In our consortia of 5 counties with. Sometimes the counties purchase as a group, but sometimes not- the only way we can introduce consistency is to show each unique library name, with a link underneath.
When I dream about how this should really work...
If a patron's ptype matches the library who proovides access to an electronic resource, then the record may be displayed in the results with the appropriate URL. If it that ptype does not find an accessible resource, it doesnt show. Until then, please let us make custom text for the urls in the 856 -

An error occurred while saving the comment Laurie Shedrick commentedThe online facet, when selected, should trigger a tab that is not a physical copy, perhaps in a custom order. We would want the selection to be appropriate for ebooks and eaudios as well as for video, Gaming, digital content and so on. A single prioritized table that could be consulted would work.
An error occurred while saving the comment Laurie Shedrick commentedIn Kiosk mode, the location of the Kiosk site's collection should be displayed 1st in the location facet.
Laurie Shedrick supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Laurie Shedrick commentedOur small libraries are obscured in our catalog because their collection size consistently falls below the threshold of the facet display for location.
We would also like to organize location listings to be alphabetical and complete with all locations.

An error occurred while saving the comment Laurie Shedrick commentedHaving experienced a failed extraction, I now see how easy they are to miss. This is critical to meeting service requirements, so unless Innovative has some way to successfully monitor and fix this on our behalf, a notice (and hopefully a trigger to correct) should be part of the process.

An error occurred while saving the comment Laurie Shedrick commentedWhen you have a large consortia, the amount time it takes to remove a single holiday from view is significant. Allowing them to be masked from view once passed would at least provide a cushion of time to get them out.
Also dates not tied to a year (like new years day) could be entered with an wildcard year, in this way they never expire and dont need an edit.

You have to just about be a library professional, work closely with call numbers or be clairvoyant to peg a perfect match on a call number in our system. A wildcard would resolve that issue, allowing patrons to make use of the call number search.
