Further customize Hoopla integration by choosing to suppress from "main" site

Having this feature will be very important for our consortium and to increase usability for our consortium. Allowing for that level of variety will be imperative in making sure that every library has the opportunity to use the full capability of Vega Discover.

Luke Patterson commented
This is extremely important for Discover to truly work for us as a consortium. Not all our libraries offer Hoopla so we need to be a per-library setting and not all on or all off.
-
Margaret Rose O'Keefe commented
We absolutely need this for our consortium before we can enable Hoopla at all because not all of our libraries offer it. We can't have it showing up for those who can't access it.
-
Laurie Shedrick commented
Tremendously important for consortia to control the view. We want patrons who can check out to see the oppprtunity, but a dead end because your library doesnt have a resource is not the experience anyone would find appropriate in our consortia.
-
Robert Drake commented
Extremely critical feature for consortia where not all members have this content.
-
Nicole Castellano commented
This is definitely a good idea because it will help to cut down on patron frustration when they find resources they can't use.
-
Tory Young commented
This idea is key to making sure that our patrons only see what materials are actually available to them through our library as we are part of a large consortium. This would go a long way in reducing patron frustration as they use Vega Discover to browse the collection, and improve findability of the materials we do offer.

Nicole Turzillo commented
Suppressing these records is critical for our consortium. We do not offer Hoopla as a county-wide subscription, and we definitely do not want the content displayed to patrons who do not have access.
-
Alexis Camarda commented
Since not all our libraries offer Hoopla, certain patrons might be unable to access the resources they find in their search. Providing the choice to display or conceal Hoopla is crucial to prevent confusion and potential frustration among patrons.
-
Eileen Keller commented
Hoopla is a service offered by some of our libraries, but not all. Having these records in the full catalog is confusing and disappointing to patrons who do not have access to the service. The libraries that do offer the service want the items to be findable in their collection sites, as the Vega search increases the visibility of these valuable resources.
-
Alexandra Harvancik commented
Our consortial "main" site does not offer hoopla, but the majority of our libraries do and would like to make those items discoverable on their site.
-
Ann Penke commented
Not all libraries have Hoopla or have the staff to maintain it. It would be a frustration to patrons to see it in the catalog, but be told they don't have access.
-
Mary Alice Bodden commented
Not all libraires have Hoopla, but I am not interested in have the labor force to maintain the records
-
Rachel Muchin Young commented
Not all libraries offer hoopla.

Sarah Cournoyer commented
Not all libraries in our consortia have hoopla, not all libraries have staff to maintain the records, and not all libraries want their hoopla connection to show up in the catalog.
