Fix the Leap Bibliographic Find Tool Search to use Initial Articles like the Polaris Client
Currently in Leap there is no equivalent Bibliographic Title search to the "Exact match (implicitly truncated)" in the Polaris Client. The Leap search "Bibliographic>BasicSearch>Title>Exact ()" doesn't utilize the Initial Articles entries in the Bib record so any title search with a "The" or "A" or "An" in the title are not returned in the search results. This has caused a push back to adoption since the very real perception is that Leap has inferior search capabilities. Patron Preferred Pronouns (Polaris)
We would like an optional field in the patron record for preferred pronouns. This field should be available at the top of all patron registration views near Last name, First name, Title etc. It should be available to display on the Patron Status and Check-out screens via System Administration under Parameters, Patron Services, Check-out: Optional patron data. We would also like to be able to display it on phone notices, but not mailers.

Better Handling of "Display" Items
: In its current configuration, a "display" shelf location can be used to indicate an item has been placed on display. However, changing this shelf location is a semi-permanent change and when the display comes down staff must change the location codes, either manually or through a record set, to the original location. Because displays are often very popular, this often results in items being checked out and returned. Without markings on the books that indicate they're on a temporary display, these items are often reshelved in their original location while their Polaris record indicates they're still on display, hindering…

Polaris 7.8 - Count Renewals Separately- how many patrons actually checked out an item
For collection development purposes, we need to know how popular an item is. Right now, renewals from the same patron counts as a circ. It would help to have renewals counted separately so that we can have an accurate circulation stat. For example, our YA Manga (33090005890258) shows that lifetime circulation is 5 but it's actually 2 patron checkouts with 3 renewals. This number makes it seem that this manga is more popular than it is. New items are easier to count right now but as time passes, looking at the history will become more time consuming.

Un-cancel a purchase order line item
The ability to un-cancel a cancelled Purchase Order Line Item. Sometimes an order cancelled by a vendor will arrive anyways, or one edition is cancelled then later substituted for another. In these cases, it would be preferable to un-cancel the original POLI than to create a new one, or start from scratch at the invoice stage. Un-cancelling the POLI would also allow us to maintain the connection between the POLI and the Invoice Line Item.
