Booking Policy Improvements
I was testing the registration limits and see that the system does block people from registering multiple times if you have limited tickets to 1 per registration, which is good. I see a message above the red box: "Please ensure you agree to the Bookings Policy before proceeding." When I click on the link it takes me to our Privacy Policy. I do not see the connection as the block is tied to the email and name being entered not an IP address or other data. Can this be changed? We don't have a policy on registration, so it is…

Keyword Description Search (Staff Side)
Event Search> Search Term: Incorporate event descriptions into the search parameters so a search will find keywords in a description and not just the title/series/category/note.

Room name in brochure
We'd like to make better use of the brochure feature, and one limitation we encounter is that the room names are not listed on the brochures.
Our patrons rely on our calendar to know not only when events are, but where in the building they are. Branch name is helpful, but a room name would increase the usability of brochures for us.

Pending Requests Block Staff
Pending requests to use rooms or equipment should block staff (or prompt them with an override) when editing existing bookings to times which would conflict.
Use case: we had a pending request for our playroom for later in the day that staff hadn't yet approved for use because admin staff were in meetings. When a no-show called during the meeting to rebook for later, the staff member didn't know a booking was pending because the system doesn't hold the room, so they rebooked over the pending request. equipment listing top
The EQUIPMENT BOOKINGS option in the public view is listed at the bottom of the webpage. In comparison, a ROOM BOOKINGS option is listed at both the top and the bottom ofthe public view webpage.
Having the EQUIPMENT BOOKINGS option at both the top and bottom of the webpage would give it more accessiblity (the user doesn't have to work harder when looking for it and doesn't have to scroll down to the bottom of the page to use the feature).1 vote -
limit submissions by time
Do not allow people to book more than two hours at a time in just certain rooms. Do not allow people to book out more than one month/three months in advance.

Allow updates/descriptions for series landing pages
It would be nice to be able to add some kind of description or notes for a series page. This would make it easier for patrons to click a series and see what it's all about, since not all off our series are of the same program.

Allow staff to override default room booking durations
When staff are booking a study room for patrons, allow them to enter specific start/end times. For example, our library's rooms are booked in 1-hour increments. But if a patron shows up at 10:15 and wants to use a room that is booked at 11am, there's no way to book the room for just 45 minutes, even on the staff side. If staff enters 10:15 as the start time, the software changes the default end time to 11:15, and there's no way to change it to 11am.

"See All Bookings" Result Needs to Include Setup and Cleanup Times
We have 30+ rooms and staff use the See All Bookings option to determine a room's daily schedule. However, it does not include the setup and cleanup times in the VP display or downloaded information. Staff can only view the displayed event's start and times. It would be very helpful for our teams doing setup and teardown to have this information on this display or downloaded information.

Adjust Appointment-Style Calendar Date Selection
The green, highlighted date on the appointment-style calendar should be the date available for selection. Instead, it seems to indicate the day before the date of the event?
Consecutive dates will have some green highlighted dates that are selectable and others that are not.

Add Email Customization Templates for Languages
Libraries should be able to modify email templates for the languages they offer to their patrons.
As a patron, Program should detect the browser language to determine which language template to use.
For example, a patron with the browser set to German who registers for an event gets emails from the German templates.

Statistics on demographic data
The libraries in a cooperative would find it valuable to get demographic data on who is registering for events. If the person registering for a program is an existing library patron and Vega Program is connecting over to Polaris/Sierra to validate anyway, it ought to be possible to grab demographic data to report on.
It would also be helpful to get data on people who register for programs but don't have a library account. There could be an "opt-in" checkbox on the registration form to facilitate communicating through Vega Promote campaigns.1 vote -
Events and Equipment
When we book a room, we can also book equipment.
When we create an event, we can book a room, but not reserve equipment, that has to be done separately. We have parent/child rooms. That means that if staff does not book chairs, they may end up with none. It will mean staff have to do twice as much work to make sure they have the equipment that they need.
Please tie in equipment bookings to the Events calendar, so staff can book everything at once.1 vote
