  1. Patrons need an at-a-glance calendar notice when a library is closed all day for a holiday.

  2. Allowing staff to manually move a patron from the waitlist to a registered spot instead of having to type the information over again. Having those on the waitlist to fill in all the questions/information you are asking for a confirmed spot in a program.

  3. Occasionally we need to shuffle which rooms patrons will be in, but with the current set up, we have to delete the reservation and start from scratch in the new room. Could you provide a way to change the room but keep the rest of the reservation? Or even to copy the room booking and then create a new booking from the copy? Similar to cloning an event for the calendar. This would also be helpful for groups who use the library on a regular basis and would like to schedule more than one date at once.

  5. Most of our children's programs are series programs which run for a certain number of weeks. As we have put in our winter programs we have noticed that the "booking option for session" field only appears if we use "add a new session". It does not appear when using "recur at interval". Recur at interval is a quicker way to input all the sessions, but for these programs we only want customers to register once for the entire series. Is there a way to have the "booking option for session" field appear when using "recur at interval".

We've noticed that patrons that are signed up for classes where they need to attend multiple sessions (like for example a defensive driving class that meets on two successive nights) are getting email reminders that only mention one date. Is there a way to adjust the templating for these notifications so it includes all dates they are registered to attend?

  8. Other than just unchecking the Enabled box for a staff account that's no longer needed, there should be a way for the administrator to remove/suppress a disabled staff account from view. This would keep the admin level clean with only the current content.

  9. Add the phone number of patrons on the waitlist. When adding someone to the waitlist, staff should also capture a phone number as an optional field.

    If we need to contact these patrons last minute (i.e. cancellation) we would prefer to do it by phone number.

  10. Several libraries in our consortium have multiple study rooms. They want to limit patrons to a single 'study room' booking across all of their study rooms for a given time period (e.g. Jane Doe can only book a single study room each day, but the next day she can book a room again, etc.).

    Currently, they can limit bookings for an individual room, but the patron can just sign up for another room later that day (and go through them all in turn). I guess staff can monitor and delete duplicate bookings, and dedicated patrons will undoubtedly find other workarounds.

  11. Sometimes when we're reviewing a program series in the approval stage, we realize that we need to make changes to the dates, such as shifting everything over by a week. It would be great to be able to make changes to the entire series recurrence in the approval stage, rather than deleting it and starting over.

  12. One of our staff members accidentally deleted a session that had registrations attached to it. A warning before deleting is preferred, or a way to restore the deleted registration.

  13. We need to put the age restriction in for adult programs - the issue lies in asking adults for their age when they are registering. We would require age upon registration for Children and Teen programs mostly, but not often (if ever) for adults. Is it possible to have a toggle for the Age Restriction field to ask for age or not?

  15. We have staff that would like to be alerted when an event has no registration spots remaining–event is full. It allows staff to determine if additional spots can be added, sometimes by a change of location or meeting space. An email alert to the event contact would be a great heads up without staff having to self monitor the registration list. (Especially with decentralized programming efforts (virtual and in-person) occurring for numerous programs a month.

  16. I found another area where bookings is used rather than registration (see below). I have already changed the UI language options I have control over to registration, register, etc from bookings. I am not sure where this is pulling from, but we do not use the word bookings.

  17. Standardize the display of dates. There are inconsistent date formats throughout. Our preferred format is Day, Month ##, Year (e.g. Monday, July 10, 2023) or Day, Month ## (e.g. Monday, July 10)

  18. We have had to add the "ages" (for teens, for seniors, etc.) to our categories.

    It would be ideal if ages were a separate dropdown that patrons could use in addition to categories and locations/libraries.

    This would make it easier for patrons to filter information more effectively.

  20. The calendar view should be responsive and adjust to longer if there are many events taking place on a certain date, rather than cutting them off.
