    I just wonder if this has been reported to Innovative as a bug? If this is the intended behaviour, then we agree that when a hold is modified, it should show up on the paging queue as expected.

    This is a very important feature for our homebound customers, shut-in borrowers, and those staff/users that help these customers. If someone has the permission to place holds for another user, they also need to know if title is currently checked out to that patron, borrowed in the past, or is already on hold for that customer.

    Users that need others to help manage their holds depend on this. There are some homebound features in Sierra, but we have 3rd party agencies that will only use the catalogue to place holds. We have customers that see this functionality in Libby (Overdrive) and want to see the same functionality in Vega Discover.

    Agreed. This is important for customers that heavily use lists. Libraries may need the option to suppress those "Resource not available" if the title is not available.

    Our staff and library users have asked for this. This was a favorite facet in Encore, and after moving to Vega, it is missed. The natural (and sometimes) language used in these tags has become vital for discovery. We need the genres classified in the 655:

    Western: “Western fiction” (655_7 Western fiction.|2lcgft
    Romance: “Romance fiction” (655_7 Romance fiction.|2lcgft
    Science fiction: “Science fiction” (655_7 Science fiction.|2lcgft

    We support any enhancements that provide more information to our customers about the status of their holds. This manages expectations. Especially for customers that use lockers (they may need to schedule special visits to that site).

    This is very important to us. We want promote customers savings at the self checkout and at the circulation desk. We have several communication initiatives that would benefit from this.

    Yes - any additional information would be helpful. I now reference the circulation transaction history table for some of this information, but we only have a limited amount of time to look at this table.
