The current UI for passthrough searches in Vega Discover is confusing for patrons. Using the external link icon as a button is not intuitive, especially when multiple options are available. Patrons expect the catalog name itself to be the clickable link, or they look for a more conventional button similar to others on the page.

As a workaround, you can create a custom question template to collect the grades of attendees or confirm they are in a specific grade.

We propose adding a toggle option to disable the "hold position" count. This number can be inaccurate and misleading for holds on physical items in a large consortium like ours. Our libraries prioritize local holds, so the displayed number doesn't accurately reflect the actual availability of the items. Given that we've already suppressed this information in Encore and WebPAC, we believe it should also be possible to suppress it in Vega.

To improve the usefulness of Collection Sites, we need to show Order and Checkin/Holdings records. Patrons should be able to easily find items their library has on order in Collection Sites.

We've also heard about this issue from our library staff. It's a small problem, but it can be unclear for some people. I agree with James that adding a dedicated 'Copy to Clipboard' button would make this process more manageable.

I agree that the focus on the first available format can confuse patrons. It would be more user-friendly to default to the book tab unless a specific format is selected to narrow down the results.

Approximately 60,000 patrons currently use usernames in our system. The absence of this feature in Vega Discover restricts the online account flexibility to which these patrons have grown accustomed.

Currently, staff face challenges when using impersonation mode due to limited search capabilities (email only) and reliance on cached data. Expanding the search to all registration fields and utilizing real-time data would resolve these issues and improve workflow.
