Increase the number of showcases that can be added to a Hero Carousel
We feel the Hero Carousel is a good way to highlight items that do not have a cover image (ex. digital content such as streamed video).
However, it is currently limited to 5 showcases/URLs. It would be great if the number could be increased.

Add Google Translate plug in
Google translate currently works on Vega, but there is not a way to add the plug in to the header. Vega only has a limited amount of language translations built into the site. We want to give our patrons the ability to translate the site into additional languages.

please include 775 $a in Bibframe Concept: Agent (for translated works)
As the 245$c field is not indexed we are struggling with how to find authors of translated works. The 775$a often has the anglicized version of the author's name that appears on the cover of a work. This cannot be searched for right now because the 245$c is not indexed. If the 775$a were indexed, this would help.

Showcases should retain bib type focus
When building a Showcase using the "Create from ILS List" function, the resulting list should float the bib type used to create the list to the top for display.
For example, I've created a list of new DVDs and have built a showcase based on that list. The resulting showcase defaults to displaying the Blu-ray tab. Because the ILS list includes the record number, and I know you can link directly to a specific tab using that record number, we should be able to highlight those specific types in the showcase, if not by default, then it should be an…

using the browser back button after logging in produces an authentication error
If you are on a resource page, log in, and then use the browser back button, there is an authentication error. The error page cannot be edited. The error page is not intuitive and provides no way back to the main catalogue.
The error is: Unexpected error when authenticating with identity provider".
That has not been well received by our staff & customers.

Serials: Issue Selection Modal box
When searching for Serials within Vega, and attempting to Place Holds, we'd like to point out / suggest two things:
• Add a Select All option and/or individual checkboxes on each issue (add ability to place bulk hold for multiple serials)
• Address the empty Search results modal / dialog box, since it gives users no feedback on what they're seeing when there are no matching results. Display the MARC 773 field and index 773 $t
We have over 23,000 bibliographic records in our legacy ILS that represent articles within serials and we continue to add new ones on a regular basis. We use the MARC 773 field to list the parent serial title, volume and issue number, and pages of the article, but this field does not display in Vega or Leap, making these articles impossible to find (unless a staff member views the MARC in Polaris.)
Also, 773 subfield $t is not indexed so these records are not findable by a title search for the parent journal, only by searching the title and/or author…

Unified Authentication: OAuth (or SAML) Integration for staff Vega Discover access
Our library currently leverages OAuth 2.0 with Google as our identity provider to authenticate librarians into Polaris LEAP. We would like to request the ability to integrate this same OAuth 2.0 (or SAML)/Google authentication workflow with Vega Discover. Since we understand that Vega Discover utilizes Keycloak on the backend, this integration should be technically feasible through Keycloak's identity brokering capabilities, where Keycloak would act as an intermediary between Vega Discover and our Google identity provider. Bring back autofilling the 'Showcase block title'.
Recently this was fixed in Vega intentionally, however this auto-filling used to save our staff time in their weekly tasks. Ideally when you select a showcase, the title would be auto populated into the 'Showcase block title' box. Instead, it remains unchanged from the previous showcase. In the page preview, the showcase itself successfully changes (the books reflect the new selection), but the title doesn't update. This means our staff must type in the title each time.

Remove Left/Right Arrows for Hero Carousels with only one Image
The left/right directional arrows shouldn't be visible on Hero Carousels when there is only a single image. Many libraries like to use Hero Carousels as elements to break up a page into different sections or to only show off a single showcase/url and the inactive but still visible arrows could confuse patrons.

Display Booked Items in the Patron Account Portal
We use Bookings Maintenance for a number of popular, high-demand resources, including Book Club Bags, mobile hotspots, and other reservable items.
It would be very helpful if patrons could view their booked items directly within the Vega Discover account portal, alongside their other holds and requests. Currently, bookings are not displayed there, which can be confusing for patrons who expect their account to provide a complete view of their activity.

Don't allow duplicate holds on titles/items
We are having issues where the original hold placed is not being placed on our server quickly enough (We have already worked with support on this and done everything they have suggested). When the user does not receive an immediate notification that the hold has been placed, they will click the place hold button again, which results in duplicate holds. We need to have some kind of lock in place while the first API call is in progress, regardless of how long that takes, as the first hold does eventually get placed and now the customer has reserved two (or…

Vega - PayPal Payflow Pro integration: Comment1 Field
PayPal confirms that Vega currently passes the contents of the "Comments1" and "Comments2" field to PayPal's PayFlow Pro during the process of authorizing transactions, tokenizing the transaction, etc. The contents of the "Comments1" field are currently reflected as simply the letter "f". We would like this Comments field updated to read "Fines/Fees" so that it's more descriptive, please. The Comments2 field is fine; it contains the patron's Library Card #.

kids catalog book cover display
The kids homepage carousels force our covers into stretched and awkward sizes (see image). The adult page seems to (1) show the covers larger (2) has less space between titles and (3) adjust to their cover dimensions. The kids looks so jankity.

When entering blank query in Vega discover through the passthru search window add a splat (*) to the search
currently if the query is blank, the search will go through, but the pagination is broken, adding a splat (*) would solve this issue
