Homepage Schedule - Publishing Record
We'd like to be able to look back and see what we promoted on Vega Homepage (esp. if we promised promotion for something).
With scheduled homepage layouts (https://portal.productboard.com/iii/15-vega-product-portal/c/772-in-beta-schedule-publishing-in-the-home-page-builder), we would like to keep track of what showcase blocks we have scheduled in the future as well as those already published (past events), ideally viewable in a way (table?) with what is included in the Showcase Block Settings - for example, title, start date and time, end date and time. Allow Duplicate Item Level Holds in the catalog
A staff member would like to add the possibility of creating multiple item level holds on one title in the catalog similarly to what staff members can do in Leap. This will help patrons and book clubs that would like to place a hold on the same title without a duplicate error more seamlessly.

Map it feature or similar
We would like there to be a similar feature to map it that there is in the current PAC. This is NOT similar to Stack Map in that this would help users find nearby libraries/branches within the consortium that have items (that they could travel to) and Stack Map seems to show them where items are within the library (a map within the library).

Saved search link just saves filters, it should also save "locked" filters
A saved search link just remembers the filters, but not if any of said filters were locked or unlocked, the lock status should also be saved

Separate sign in window when patrons log into account
This will allow us to directly link to a sign in page from our website rather than send them to catalog where they need to click login again. It was something we had in the Polaris PowerPAC. It also helped with e-sources since some of these databases require validation and it would need somewhere to send them to login.

(Vega Homepage) Allow Kids' View to show particular "Literary Form" if chosen
During our user testing, we received numerous inquiries from both children and parents, expressing a desire for the option to access both fiction and nonfiction content within the limited search view designed for kids. This feature may assist them in distinguishing whether the material is intended for leisure or educational purposes at a quick glance. This shouldn't be turned on by default but should be able to be toggled for libraries willing to make that change.

Home Page: Add an option to configure the "help" on or off for the Kids Themes
Libraries would appreciate the option to control the visibility of the "help" child on a per-collection site level.

Home Page: Add an option to set the Refine Results filters to Kids Mode or Adult Mode
When using a Kids Theme for a home page, we'd like to have the option to set the default of the search results page to Kids Mode or Adult Mode by default.

Mobile Phone Number Should Map to the 'p' Field Instead of the 'o' Field
While testing out editing patron information in Vega, we ran across an issue. The mobile phone number field in the patron record edit maps to the 'o' field which we use in Sierra as a parent name field. It would make more sense to map to 'p' (telephone2) for us.
Current Workflow
- The patron logs into Vega Discover.
- From their profile, they edit their information to add/edit a Mobile phone number.
- That phone number is mapping to Sierra's 'o' field

Allow selecting a home library when in Site configuration
After creating a site in the site configuration, you can limit to a specific location like main library or branch library. I would like to be able to chose all of our locations but be able to specify a "home" library which would reorder the collection location identical to when you log in to an account. This "home library" would still show all the locations having copies but would reorder them giving a specific location preference. You could also use this to select and display specific hours and info in the library info window. I'm thinking of this for an…

Allow Vega eCommerce to enter minimum amounts that aren't "even"
In Vega eCommerce setup, you have to enter a whole dollar amount as a minimum amount that can be paid online. We require a minimum of $1.01, which is confusing to patrons if we configure this at $1 See screen shot.

Add the option to suppress formats from appearing in the list
We would like to be able to suppress certain formats from appearing in the format list so it isn't so cluttered for patrons. We are aware that would eliminate certain results, but we would prefer it to appear cleaner rather than with so many options that patrons might not even understand.

A way of prompting or reminding patrons that they need to change their passcode
If someone joins online we set a default passcode and when sending out the details to the patron by email we encourage them to make sure they change the default passcode to something more personal as soon as possible. However, it would be good to have an actual prompt in Vega Bookshelf when they first logon to remind them to change their passcode or better still force them to change their passcode.

Add item information to renewal screens
After having just been in Encore to renew, now I’m in Vega. What I don’t like about this screen is the lack of item related info. Example, Let’s say the 2 SirDynix bibs are magazine issues and I want to renew the May 21 issue – which one is it? The Encore screen provides barcode and call number, so you can differentiate between the items. This would help situations like this.

User Management page within Vega Discover admin and LX Starter admin should offer the same functionality
iii Support referred me to the User Management page within LX Starter module settings in order to access the "Send Password Reset" link functionality for a staff user. This same functionality (Actions > Send Password Reset) should be available within the Vega Discover settings / User Management page, rather than having to switch modules to accomplish this.

Allow customers to rate and review titles
Allow customers to rate (number of stars) and write reviews for titles that would appear in Discover for other customers to see.

Add filter for circulating items
Our customers are repeatedly asking to be able to have a filter for including only circulating items (excluding reference materials). This is particularly useful for materials that are heavily collected in our Research Center and Resource Centers. If customers could limit to circulating, they could more easily find items they can check out, and we have received multiple requests for this feature.

Toggle "Display Showcase on Record Pages" for ILS Lists and Saved Searches
In the showcases made from bookmark lists, we can select whether to show the list on the record pages. This feature is not available for showcases made from ILS Lists or Saved Searches.
Some showcases from ILS Lists and Saved Searches may not be beneficial to patrons viewing record pages, even though we may generate showcases to embed on a website or to view for ourselves.
