Cancelling a Patron Room Booking AFTER the Booking Date
If a patron does not show up for their room booking and we do not cancel the booking on the day that it happens, (staff gets distracted or forget) no one has the ability to cancel that room booking the next day. The only option we have is to make a staff note in the room booking.
We also created a custom question to get attendance stats of these room bookings, so we cannot change that figure now either which will impact our stats if we aren't careful.

Searchable, system-wide logging (emails)
Searchable, system-wide email logging (similar to what is available in LX Starter) so that we can see what emails were sent, received, and opened; as well as to see if patrons are on a do not send list after marking our emails as spam.
Currently, the only way to see if a patron has received emails is to find a specific program that they were in and check the email logs for that program.
If possible to expand this to all logging (which could be filtered) that would be a plus.

Equipment Booking Notifications
Send one or more staff email addresses a notification when specific equipment is booked for example, equipment in a Makerspace. Currently staff have to constantly check Program's equipment requests for bookings for their items .

You'll be able to schedule a report to be sent to specific staff for equipment. You could schedule reports to be sent multiple times a day.

Add a icon to show when a room is unavailable
Add an icon showing when a room is booked in addition to the colors. Maybe a circle with a slash through it.

Room selections in booking search
When you view location options in the Check Availability tab, you have the option to select whole locations (checking the location box, and all the rooms are selected from that location). In the Booking Search tab, all the rooms are just separate, and there's not a way to pick a location and have all the rooms selected at once. A minor concern, but if there's a way to make those dropdowns the same, that would be awesome.

Some libraries want to use the color coding for rooms/locations instead of categories.

Hierarchy for Category Colors
We'd like to use the color coding options, but for events with multiple categories, the color that displays seems to be whichever is first alphabetically. It would be nice to choose which categories take priority or to have a default color and only display a different color for specific categories. It would be most useful for us to have ages as a separate identifier that could be color-coded and have priority.

Staff Side 'Add Bookings' Customization
- Add the ability to change the behavior of the Add Bookings page to default to a Guest booking rather than a Member booking. We typically don't require patrons to provide a library card number when registering for a program.
- Add the ability to make the Booking Note & Staff Name field not required. This may be confusing for staff and isn't something we would need every time staff register a patron for an event.

Saving as a Draft Blocks the Room
Saving a draft should block the room, which allows staff to be more efficient. They won't need to delete or unpublish public/private events to prevent the room from being booked.
This is important when 100+ events are happening in a single month.

Widget accessibility
Is there a way for the featured events widget to pull the dark overlay that exists on the actual event page banner/image instead of just the image? It makes it more accessible and easier to see.

Brochure date range defaulting to 6 months
Give libraries the option to set a default date range for brochure event generation. We typically have 3 months worth of events in the system at any given time. Patrons may not reprint the brochure and miss out on any new of updated items.

Downloadable Report for Event Registration Should Include the Booking Note & Staff Name field
Information entered in the Booking Note & Staff Name field on the add booking screen only shows if you hover over the icon in the current bookings. It would be useful if that information also showed up on the exportable spreadsheet.

Series Name field converted from text field to a dropdown list for Events
If the series name field were an admin controlled dropdown list, staff could consistently select/name events as appropriate. No added keystroking and risk for creating incorrect series names. If it could be a multi-select dropdown list, it would also allow us to make an event part of more than one series when needed. Not sure how this would be handled on the public view. Maybe a quick display of matching series names with say 5 to 10 events for each series, allow the user to explore more in that series?

Updating PACREG Library Card Numbers for Room Reservations
When someone applies for a library card, the ILS provides patrons a temporary library card number beginning with "PACREG." When a patron uses this temporary number to reserve a meeting room, there is no way for staff to update the library card number attached to a reservation. It is a read only field (which is opposite in event registrations.) The ILS communication is one way, pulling name data into VP. Grace, if you can open a Support ticket with the old card and the new card, we can ask if they can manually move the registrations to the old card.
I think Jen's suggestion would also work in your case, where being able to update the barcode would re-link their bookings and registrations.

Automatically cancel study room bookings if the room isn't accessed within the first 15 minutes of the scheduled time. If the system detects that the door wasn't unlocked (via PIN or NFC) within this window, the reservation would be canceled, freeing up the room for others to book.

Event RECUR AT Interval during hours of operation
Have an event 'RECUR AT interval' across multiple days, all day, during hours of operation. Currently, when scheduling an event to RECUR AT interval you cannot choose a)multiple times, or b) a beginning and ending time when the hours of operation do not match.
For example - we want to hold a 3 day event at a location where the hours of operation are:
Day 1 - 9am - 6pm
Day 2 - 1pm - 6pm

Staff Side: Applying room filters shouldn't default to all options selected
When searching rooms on the staff side from Check Availability or Booking Search, clicking on the Location filter defaults to all locations selected. It would be more efficient if all locations were unselected, and the staff user could use Select All if needed.

Simplify the layout for less scrolling when registering
Change the layout of the screen so that "register as a guest" shows at the same place register as a patron does. This will make it easier for patrons so they don't have to scroll down as far to register as a guest.

Impersonate Search by Email Also Checks Against the ILS
Instead of two searches (library card number OR email address), have one search that looks for the matching information. For example, if a patron used their library card number to register for the event AND their email address is in the ILS, a search using the email address would bring back their guest bookings as well as their ILS bookings. A search by barcode number would bring back any guest bookings IF their ILS account has a matching email address.

It takes extra clicks to go through room management, it would be easier if Resources had its own menu.
