This idea is outside of our agreed upon Idea Graduation Workflow, but because it was just raised in the most recent rount of MEEP voting, I'm going to keep it open for another cycle. Moving to "Under Review" status.

Yes please! As others have mentioned, problems and frustrations with printing from Leap are one of the biggest hurdles to libraries considering a transition from the staff client to Leap.

I will echo Mike's comment. In a consortia of independent member libraries, where each library has different configurations at the branch level, the patron account features, especially the options to edit a patron's account, need to be set at the collection site level and honor the Polaris PAC settings. As the functionality currently stands, the results are confusing for users and essentially unusable.

Being able to sort by author or title can significantly increase accessibility and usability of a list. It improves the user's experience.

The ability for users to register online became very important a few years ago, and more and more libraries are relying on it.

Indexing these fields is important to provide access to the contents of an item when multiple works are contained within a single item.

We actually added an endpoint to support this integration in Polaris 7.6 (BibsPost). We've been working with BTCat to consume the endpoint in their application.
I'm going to set this to "Planned" for now because the integration is not live with BTCat yet. But the development piece required for Polaris has been done. Please let BTCat know you are interested!!

Please include this or at least connect to the pickup area functionality available in Polaris 7.5 - such as is included on the roadmap for LX Starter: https://portal.productboard.com/iii/15-vega-product-portal/c/719-support-pickup-area-in-hold-pickup-alerts-and-final-hold-pickup-notices-for-polaris
Polaris 7.5 includes new Pickup Area functionality that will allow a user to select first a library and then a designated pickup area.
Providing an option for pickup locations is crucial as more libraries start to offer smart locker pickup and other, separate pickup area scenarios.
The current work-around of creating new "branches" just for a pickup location for a locker or other area creates multiple data and maintenance challenges both for administrators and library staff. This challenge is further multiplied in a multi-library consortia setting.
Including the new Polaris pickup area functionality in Discover or at least allowing for multiple pickup locations per branch would allow libraries to provide options without the need to create new "branches" - all of which would help streamline, simplify, and improve the experience of both staff and users.
