Display 264 info in “Edition information” as well when there are 880 fields present
Our patrons who speak and read other languages need to be able to see our world language material records in their own language, including the 264 information, not just the title, author, and series. For Chinese materials, our users can distinguish Traditional Chinese materials from Simplified Chinese materials by checking the place of publication, and they can only do this if they can see that info in their language. As pictured in the screenshots, the old PAC shows the transliteration AND vernacular script, whereas Vega only shows the transliteration. Our users need to see both.

Export list of titles when browsing by reading level
We are LOVING the fact that Syndetics Unbound pulls in reading-level information and readalikes. We anticipate this will be very popular with teachers and parents, and it would be awesome if there was a way to easily export a list of the titles available at that level. As far as we can tell, right now there isn't a way to add all of the titles to a list or export/print the list.

Renewals remaining
We use Polaris and our old catalog showed the number of renewals remaining/available for patrons. We've heard from patrons and staff that this would be appreciated versus the current view (number of renewals taken). Thanks for considering!

Allow libraries to enable SAML for patron sign-in (Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc. integration)
We'd like the ability for patrons to link their existing library card account with other authentication platforms such as Google, Microsoft, Apple, Linkedin, Facebook, etc.. This would provide ease of sign-in and enhanced security through features like multi-factor authentication (MFA). Patrons would register their existing library account with one of these integrations if they decided to move to this method. This has become common enough across the web that we've had patrons specifically ask for the ability to login with their Apple or Google account.

Order records and non-circulating holdings records not appearing on collection sites.
On Order items and non-circulating items with holdings records (e.g. newspapers) do not appear in the search results on collection sites for consortia setup. Rather, they only appear in the search results for the global site.

Allow selections for bulk holds to persist across pages in search results
When a user clicks on the new Selection boxes for bulk holds, then clicks to the next page to view more search results, the selected titles do not persist. I would expect to be able to page through and add titles across all of the pages of the search before choosing to Place Holds.
If the selections are limited to a single page of the search results, there should be a warning or prompt when you click to a subsequent page that gives you the option to place your holds before losing them.
Ideally, your selections should be maintained across…

Include Local Subject Added Entry - Form Subdivision (690 $v)
690 $v is currently ignored upon ingest, causing Local Subject entries to disregard subheadings in Concept displays. We're attempting to create showcases based on saved concept searches for some of our local collections, rather than needing to manually updated showcases as new items are added. Subcollections with subject heading like Diversity Collection -- Asian/Pacific Islander literature, Diversity Collection -- Latinx literature, and Diversity Collection -- LGBTQIA+ literature all display under the concept Diversity Collection in Discover.

Make Unclaimed holds more clear
When viewing holds, can it be more clear to patrons when they’re unclaimed? It currently doesn't show that the pickup date has passed or call it Unclaimed, it just says that they're "0 - Waiting".

Don't "smart search" based on mouse position
In the search bar, if someone types a query and their mouse happens to be below the search bar, when they press enter, it performs the search based on the suggested title or concept that was where the mouse was positioned. This unwanted autocompleting has confused me and others, and I've only just deduced the cause (I think). Most search engines don't do this behaviour, so people don't even think to consider the position of their mouse when typing a search into a search box. It has caused frustration for our librarians and patrons.

Ability to remove a title from My Reading History
Patrons would like to be able to remove a title from their reading history. (one by one ideally, though in a batch using check marks would work). Sometimes patrons borrow something and never get the time to read it and/or change their minds and never read it...

Add staff reviews or comments to Showcases
Similar to something BiblioCore offers, add staff reviews or comments to Showcases. Libraries use this to inform patrons why a title was added to a list

Ability to assign or group target ages into a specific age group facet w/o manipulating records
We'd like to have ability to change the mapping of the Audn: Target audience (BKS, COM, REC, SCO, VIS: 008/22; 006/05) to a specific age group facet. For example, many catalog records have a blank assigned for target audience. Search results will include these records but they fall out when the "general" facet is selected. We do not want to manipulate these records to "g" when [blank] is a valid option. Also, we'd like the ability to group the target audience a (preschool), b (primary), and c (pre-adolescent) under j (juvenile) without manipulating the catalog records in our database.

Improve Reading History Search
Improve the capabilities of the mini search feature that only looks at the patron's reading history. We've had patrons mention some minor odd things like being unable to find a work in their reading history when searching by the author's first name + last name (only last name + first name order works). Also, mixing keywords from the title and author fields or using keywords from the title out of sequence fail to return results.

Material obtained from digital source displaying incorrectly in account
When an item is checked out through a third-party digital resource, like Overdrive/Libby, that is not included in our catalog it displays strangely. The list of digital items that aren't included in our catalog is extensive and forever increasing. I've included a screenshot of how it is displayed in the account records on Vega.
It would be helpful if these items displayed in a way that was less confusing. Perhaps just simply calling it "Digital Item" would be fine.

Allow patrons to build alerts (email/SMS) based on Vega search filters
Integrate into Vega the capability for patrons to create their own notifications using advanced search filtering. For example, patrons could choose to receive a text through IPA:SMS whenever a specific author releases new material at our library. Additionally, they could opt to receive a weekly email with a predefined search filter, such as Availability (At Library), Format (Book), Collection (Adult Non-Fiction), New Material (This week), focusing on the topic "Nature".

Ability to add description to Showcase
Our staff would like the ability to add a description to Showcases, in addition to the detail described in the Showcase title. I've attached an example from another discovery layer.

Hold notice confirmation displays the Email or Phone # the notice will be delivered to
This will help staff let patrons know where the notice will be sent when placing a hold on their behalf. It will also show patrons where to expect the notice to be sent to when they place holds.
The red box in the attached screenshot would say the following:
"Notice will be emailed (or texted to): ***"
