Include 'other title info' with original title in brief search display for translated works
It would be very helpful for staff when assisting patrons searching for materials in other languages if the 240 field with the original title in English was also displayed in the brief search results so the staffer could easily and quickly identify the title in English that the patron is searching for in the other language.

Showcase list or searching
Ability to list/search showcases on the patron side. An example would be to list/search showcases by the creator, the teen department.

Present a dropdown of the configured hours where the collection site can choose their default.
For Collection Sites it would be useful to be able to set a default location to display the hours information from like you do at the consortia level.
Currently it uses the consortia default when a patron is not logged in.

Redirect patrons to home/preferred library Collection Site upon login
If the patron logs into a patron site that isn't their preferred or home library, give them the choice to be redirected to that site.
A choice would be preferred, since a patron may be logging in to complete a check out or list save against a collection site they do have access to, so we do not want to interrupt their experience unnecessarily.

Customize the patron search results experience even further
Grid View is soon to be launched. However, we have patrons who would prefer to have a 'text-like' view of search results, making it easy to browse quickly through what now represent pages and pages of results. Make it a customizable feature for patrons to be able to opt to view a textual results list. (perhaps this will also be easier for those requiring screen readers)

Add a 'Day' option for New Materials
Currently, we can refine our search for New Materials to: week, month, quarter, year. We are accustomed to seeing new materials catalogued within a day. Please add 'Day' to the Select Period options in the New Materials limiter.

Suppress the patron name when Account Linking is not on
When viewing checkouts in Account Portal, the patron name appears next to every checkout. I know this is groundwork for the yet to release Account Linking function but please do not show this when there are no linked accounts. Patrons have already reported that this is not helpful.

Show schedule on Homepage configuration page
Currently, the behind-the-scenes view of the homepage tells you how many scheduled and unscheduled showcase blocks you have, but not which are which or what their schedules are until you go into the preview. This information would be so useful to have at a glance to help with managing and planning.
There is room next to the purple type labels for additional useful labels. I'd also stretch out the space allocated for the block titles to make them easier to read.
See my images for mockups of potential information that could be useful for big-picture managing a homepage without clicking…

thumbnail update
Now that the thumbnail updates based on which tab of the roll-up is selected, if the thumbnail does not exist for that item type, it should display the image that does exist. For example, if the thumbnail exists for the book, but not for the audiobook, when you click on the audiobook tab, the thumbnail should display the book rather than displaying a generic blank image.

Update Roll-Up Logic for DVDs and Blu-Rays
Right now, the roll-up logic for DVDs and Blu-Rays uses the publisher information in addition to title to identify between different editions. However, there are a number of older films that have been republished by a new distributor, even though they are the same film, and despite being basically the same, do not roll-up. "Dune" (1984) is one example. "Fire Walk With Me" is another.
I think it'd be better to use "director" as a roll-up criteria as that's (almost always) unique to items with the same name. If someone who knows which cataloging field that would be, it'd be…

Vega Admin - Library Info Widget to organize closure dates
When updating the Vega Admin closure dates for locations, the dates seem to be fixed in the order that they were created. It would be helpful to sort these by either date added or date of closure.
It would also be helpful to automatically hide the closure dates in the past. This is beneficial in our other platforms, including Library Market, our website calendar with Granicus, our Google Business pages, etc.

Staff User Accounts
We are finding the creation of staff user accounts a bit clunky. Having only 12 hours to accept the link is too short of a time frame when someone from another location is creating the user account but unaware of when the staff member is working or will see the email. If the window is missed, there's no way for them to request a new link, and the account has to be deleted and recreated. There also needs to be a Forgot Password option for staff users.

Correctly Incorporate ISBD Punctuation in Title display
This is a problem that impacts AACR2 records, including a significant quantity of e-resources, government and vendor supplied bibliographic records>
Punctuation between subfields is treated as part of the subfield itself, causing irregularities in the display of several fields.
The way Vega removes the $h [GMD] from the MARC 245 field, and $b is present, the ISBD punctuation is also removed. {a [h] : b} becomes {a b}, some examples {a [h] / c} becomes {a } the : or / following the $h is added to the Genre field
According to ISBD rules the colon preceding the additional title…

Items with different content shouldn't be incorrectly combined into work displays
This is related to the suggestion "All metadata and content displayed for a work should use the same instance ISBN", but more specifically I'm seeing a problem with movies with different release years, but the same title (and same DVD publisher).
I can see this making sense for certain things - for example a book like The Grapes of Wrath, which we have several different editions of. The text is basically the same - there may be different forewords or other supplementary material, but for the most part it's less likely that a patron will be choosy about which edition…
