Allow libraries to reset staff accounts that are locked out
There are a few scenarios where staff don't remember their exact password and get themselves locked out of LEAP: they are adjunct staff who work infrequently, they have just returned from a long vacation, or simply have brain freeze. In these cases, they open a support ticket, and I would like to be able to reset their account so that they can log in immediately, the same way I can now clear an object lock on an item that someone needs to use. Add Call Number to Item Information on Account Tab
Staff are requesting that the call number be added to items that are billed on the account tab in the patron page. Right now, the main item information is Barcode/Title/Organization [branch] so they have to click to the item to see the call number when they do a shelf check. Adding the call number to this page will help staff work more efficiently by skipping having to look it up on another page.

Validate controlled thesauri (650 or 655 _7 $2)
Adding the $2 validation opens the door to using so many controlled thesauri, like Spanish headings via Queens and National Library of Spain, OLAC's video game headings, Homosaurus' headings, and many more that would make searching easier for customers and staff by providing access points that mimic how they talk about their interests and information needs.
It would be a step closer towards inclusion by using various existing vocabularies that institutions want to use, unlock more potential of the ILS, as well as improve authority maintenance overall.

Exclude holds from outreach patrons from our picklist and show the patron's name.
We would like the ability to exclude holds from outreach patrons from our picklist, since the outreach module has its own picklist. In addition, having the picklist to show the patron's name would be a great feature.

Bulk edit serial status
Currently, when we need to edit a serial's status, it has to be done one at a time. We have multiple branches that all are scheduled to receive the same issue of a magazine. When the expected issue isn't published, due to a double or special issue instead, we have to edit each serial's status individually to "Never published". Adding serial specific fields where appropriate to bulk item edit would help this.

Leap add option to add fixed fields via bibliographic bulk change
Add the ability to add a 006 or 007 field to records via bibliographic bulk change in Leap. Leap has the ability to edit existing fixed fields via bulk change and the staff client offers the ability to add a new 006 or 007 via bulk change, so this would be part of bringing Leap into parity with the staff client. Bib records that come in from OCLC often lack the exact fixed field coding requires to display the correct Type of Material in Polaris so the ability to add missing fields via bulk change in Leap will make cataloging…

Bib-Level Multiple Holds
This is somewhat of an add-on to other improvement requests to the multiple holds feature. We would like to have an option for bib-level multiple holds. We have noticed that when teachers or book club leaders are placing the multiple holds and assigned to an item-level hold, they might get routed to a member library that doesn't frequently check their requests. In Leap, links to web-based public access catalogs are only available through bib records. It would be convenient if they can also be made accessible through item records.

Limit the shelf location drop-down menu in the item bulk change workform to the library
In item records, the shelf location drop-down menu only lists the shelf locations for the assigned branch or owning branch. However, the shelf location drop-down menu in the item bulk change work form lists the shelf locations for all libraries in the consortium. Many of these shelf locations are similar. It can make it easy to choose the wrong one by mistake. Here are some examples:

More information on ILL
On the information page for an ILL, there should be the ability to see what staff have interacted with the ILL or if a patron has made a change. We had an ILL get cancelled before it arrived to our library, but we can't tell if it was a staff initiation or a patron one. In the record for a regular item, I can see who has done what with a hold. This would be useful for follow up.

Block non-owning libraries from waiving fines
It'd be nice if fines could be ineligible for being waived by staff from any library other than the owning library. In our consortia staff can waive any fine regardless of how much it is and what library it's from, this also goes for lost and damaged items on a patron's card. This can lead to staff just waiving fines that they shouldn't be waiving, or accidentally paying out lost/damaged items for another library, which we aren't supposed to do. Allow incremental Claim Count reset
Reset Claim Count is currently all or nothing. We need the ability to reduce the claim count incrementally. This would help in situations where we actually find a bona fide claim return on our shelf for a customer who otherwise has a pattern of making false claims. We want to be able to clear that incident from the claim count without having to reset to zero.

Ability to mark an item Missing from the Unclaimed Picklist.
Scenario:
1. An item that has been trapped and is (most often) sent from another library to fill a hold for pickup at another branch.
2. The Hold is put on the shelf for the customer at a branch.
3. After X days, it shows up on the Unclaimed list.
4. Staff go to the shelf to remove it, but it is not there.

Show workstation and staff information for posted patron notices
When some notice types are posted, they show up in the item record history. But not all notices show up there, for example, printed hold notices do not show up there. It is also difficult, for example, if you want to find out who printed a fine notice to be able to locate that information because it isn't always tied to an item record.

Improve Leap quick search for complex patron names
The Leap quick search could do a better job of searching Hispanic names. Often, patrons consider their first two names as given names, not as first and middle, which makes it difficult to search for them when they come in without their cards. For example, if I search for Luis Miguel Paco Sanchez using all four names, LEAP finds the patron. If I search for Luis Paco Sanchez or Luis + either last name individually, LEAP will not find the patron. If I search for Miguel Paco Sanchez, LEAP finds the patron. Allow for customization of the Notification preferences dropdown in PAC self-registration
In order to require patrons who are self-registering via the PAC to choose a notification preference, please remove the 'none' option from the Preferences dropdown, or at least allow for the option to customize what appears in the Preferences dropdown. By removing 'none' - or allowing for the option to remove it - patrons would effectively be required to provide a notification method, which would allow the library they are self-registering with to easily contact them should any problems arise with their application.

mobile hotspot

We have a customer here who is down on the Mobile Hotspot queue. I have noticed that several of the people above him on the queue currently have hot spots checked out already. It doesn't seem fair that those customers will get to have their hotspots potentially another three weeks before this other customer gets to borrow it. Report for staff user or workstation transactions
We could use a report based on staff user and/or workstation listing all transactions made for a given date range. Most importantly for us, cataloging information which could provide date and time of bib records being created and/or modified as well as circulation information for staff who work the circ desk.

When logging into Leap make the focus on the Continue button
When you are logging into Leap on a machine where you've already logged in, a cookie is set that pre-fills the Branch and workstation. However, you canNOT simply hit enter to continue through this screen because the focus is on the workstation drop down.
This is a request to make it focus on the Continue button when you've already logged in on this browser to make the login process more seamless.

Allow for adding a file to a record set by UPC
Currently, the only option for importing a file with bibliographic data into a record set in Leap is by ISBN. It would be helpful for staff to have the option to be able to use UPC as well, as ISBN restricts this to just books and audiobooks. This leaves out DVDs and Blu-rays, as well as other non-book/audiobook material such as a Library of Things.
