Option to apply Registration fee waivers to transacting branch
Currently if a registration fee is charged or waived, it is applied to the patron's registered branch. I would like the option to have those listed under the transacting branch. For us this helps with accountability when running waive reports for cash reconciliation.

Provide ability to edit payment method in Polaris patron accounts after submission
Sometimes staff select the the wrong payment method in Polaris when taking apply a payment from a customer (cash/check/CC). Once selected, inaccurate payment methods cannot be corrected in Polaris.
While leads spot and notate these errors on Polaris cash reports, our system-wide Finance dept uses these reports to reconcile our credit card statements each month. It happens often enough and across so many branches that it creates a lot of extra work on the back end to reconcile our credit card account. PII Management Options
Although there are current options for purging patron IDs from circ transactions, and deleting account transactions, there are some gaps with removing PII (personally identifiable information) we'd like to see addressed.
We'd like the option to purge patron IDs from non-circ transactions (incl. patron account history and record history). We'd also like the option to manage patron details on any other tables where history may be maintained after a patron record is deleted (e.g. Notification History, DeletedPatrons, DeletedPatronAccounts, kwmssg, and offline and InnReach process tables). Patron Notes field - pop-up alert on check out
It would be useful to have a pop-up alert for notes to patrons that are important, but not so urgent we need to block their record. This would mean that when staff scanned their card at check out, there would be an obvious pop-up to alert them of a message, rather than relying on them noticing a colour change to the Notes link.

Ability to Merge Supplier Records
I have occasionally found multiple supplier records for a single supplier account, whether added by mistake or under multiple names (Thomas Klise and Crimson, for example). When these supplier records are accidental duplicates, I believe it would be helpful to have the ability to merge them (retaining all linked POs and invoices) to maintain one supplier record per account.

Add a "Display Password" option when resetting patron password
When using the "Reset Password" option on a patron's account, it would be very useful to have a checkbox option to display the password that is being typed instead of a series of dots. By obscuring the password when typing we have found that our staff may accidentally leave caps lock on or type something incorrect - they would like the option to see what they are typing in these fields. Provide Payment Type Edit option after submission
When we apply customer payments in Polaris, staff select payment type from a customer (cash/check/CC). Payment type is recorded in payment reports to reconcile our credit card statements each month. Sometimes a person will mistakenly record a payment as cash when it should have been CC. Once recorded, a mistakenly selected payment type cannot be corrected in Polaris. It would save significant time if an edit/correction option was available.

Add a copy button to supplier records in Leap
The ability to copy existing records makes record creation more efficient. In the Client, staff have the ability to copy an existing supplier record to create another one with similar information. This happens when staff have multiple supplier records for the same vendor because they have separate account numbers. A copy button is not in the supplier record workform in Leap yet. Add the ability to export records from OCLC to Leap using the OCLC gateway.
Sierra includes the ability export records directly from OCLC into Sierra using the OCLC gateway. This allows librarians to quickly make edits in OCLC using macros, and export those records to Sierra without actually affecting the master record in OCLC. Having this feature in Leap would be great.

Captcha for Self-Registration
It would be nice to be able to add captcha (or something similar) as added protection to Self-Registration through the PAC. It would ensure that a human is actually entering the information on the other end rather than a bot. An uptick of suspicious registrations is eating into valuable staff time and we would like to be able to add a layer of protection to our Self-Registration process.

Ability to Export Individual Owned Record Sets
I had a coworker ask why she couldn't export her record set into excel to allow for more sortability. I was surprised she couldn't and began looking at documentation and noticed that there is that ability, but you have to change the owner of the record set to the branch or system level, which feels like an unnecessary step. I should be able to export a record set I am working on to Excel with my regular ownership without having the (slim) possibility of a coworker accidentally accessing and messing up anything.

Authority record cross references should be searchable during a keyword bibliographic record search
In the Polaris client the bibliographic keyword index does not include or link to terms found in the cross reference fields (4XX & 5XX) of authority records, essentially making these references useless during a keyword search. These additional terms within authority records should be indexed in the bib record index for better, accurate search results.
The only way to access "SEE" references (4XX) during a bibliographic search is to choose a specific index (search by Author, for example) and change "type" to "Browse" rather than keyword, phrase, or exact match search.

Show Due Date for ILLs in Request Manager
Our ILL clerk would like to be able to see the due date for ILLs from the request manager, so she can make sure that the dates have been added correctly to these items. She currently has to go into each item individually to make sure they were correct.

Provide export option for hold unclaimed from Picklist
This would enhance staff ability to isolate items requiring action, particularly when unscheduled closures impact hold until dates and for special programs that have different parameters.

Provide streamlined option for placing a group of customers on hold for the same group of titles
Our library has a program where we supply community members with books to read to classrooms. All readers receive the same set of 4-6 titles. While Polaris' function of placing everyone in a record set on hold for the same title helps, it would be great if, when the find tool pops up upon clicking Place Multiple Holds, you could change the database from Bibliographic to Record Set to simultaneously place all the customers in the patron record set on hold for all the titles in the bib record set.

Serials Holding Records - remove any closed patterns from the find tool search results.
We close a pattern in the Serial Holding Record when we are reducing the number of copies, or a serial has ceased publication.
It would be helpful if these closed patterns don't appear in the 'Find Tool - Serial Holdings Record' search return list.

Allow the 650 & 655 tags to be sorted alphabetically. When bringing in older MARC records there can be masses of duplicated headings. The ability to sort them alphabetically would make deleting them much easier.
