Polaris integration with Kajeet
More and more libraries circulate mobile wifi hotspots to the public. Polaris and Polaris Leap do not currently integrate with Kajeet, which is one of the more popular wifi hotspot providers for schools and libraries. It would be beneficial to libraries using the Polaris ILS to be able to streamline the circulation process such that checking in/out a hotspot in Polaris also activated/deactivated the hotspot itself.

Reading History
When checking out a material and the the patron has history turned on, a pop-up appears saying this patron had out this item with a date or a number of days ago, so the patron doesn't check it out and immediately return it, especially would be helpful with ILL requests.

Permission that would block the checkout function but allow for check in of items.
We allow our Pages to check in items. In order to give them access they get access to Circulation control. That access is giving them access to both check out and check in of items. We would like to limit that access to only allow for check in and not check out. There seems to be a separate permission for the check in dialog box but nothing for check out and check out needs to be blocked for our Page group access.

Bulk update held until dates
The ability to bulk change Held Until dates would allow library staff to perform this task themselves in a timely manner, rather than having to submit a ticket to Innovative.

Add option to exclude Inn-Reach items on the Picklist
Please add a checkbox to exclude Inn-Reach items on the picklist. Inhouse requests are searched separately and by different staff than those who handle Inn-Reach requests, and so it would be nice to have their lists only display inhouse requests. Thanks!

Switch to a yellow or red toast for return uncirculated INN-Reach items via the Check In function (7.7)
In 7.7, we now have the option to do INN-Reach check in, which is phenomenal! It has sped up this process immensely, making for happier staff and patrons.
However, the speed has brought with it some unexpected snags: The biggest at present being the color of the 'return uncirculated' toast as compared to normal INN-Reach processing.
Using Request Manager to receive INN-Reach items, the note that a 'patron no longer wants this item' was thrown front and center using standard Polaris work form coloration (which necessitated a more thorough reading of popups). If an item was still desired by a…

Bulk change POLI segments
To be able to select multiply purchase order line segments and make a bulk change to a particular field, (eg. coll. code, fund code) Sometimes an error occurs in the import process and each line has to be populated manually. It would be amazing to be able to select an entire column and make the change.

Block holds creation when all items in a suppressed circulation status
There should be an option to block patrons from placing holds on items if there is only one owning library and the circulation status of the item is listed as missing or in storage. While in storage items should be visible to patrons in the OPAC since sometimes that item can be taken out of storage if a patron wants it, they shouldn't be able to place a hold if there's only one owning library and their only copy is listed as in storage. Like withdrawn items, missing items simply shouldn't show up at all for patrons as an option.

PAC: Banner message for closures
Libraries need a way to quickly alert communities to closures during an emergency across all PAC pages. A banner appears across all pages of the PAC and is easily edited.

Provide Export option from Check In
This would be very helpful for a number of uses - such as when your book drop is fouled and you need to quickly bag items, bulk return via RFID and save the info for later resolution.

Circulation by Loaning Branch at the Bib level
Currently the preview screen in Client and the Bibliographic level statistics screen in Leap provides circulation by Owning Branch. It would be more helpful in determining where a title is popular (and more useful for acquisitions) to have this data based on Loaning Branch. Use on a specific copy would still be accessible on the item record. If circulation by loaning branch can't be provided there, having it accessible elsewhere from the Bib record would be great.

Customizable Check In screen
It would be awesome if we could add or adjust the information that displays on the Check In screen in Leap, for example to include an item's shelf location for easier staff sorting - and it would also help to catch Display items that have circulated on their return.

Ability to import files in Leap other than .dat, .mrc,.txt., .xml
We receive vendor records with file extensions .FIL and .001. We are able to import these in the Client but are not able to import them in Leap.

INN-Reach Returns
I love Polaris/Leap 7.7's INN-Reach check-in screen for receiving resource sharing items. Thank you for the update!
Please make it smart enough to handle returns to the owning library as well (or create a similar screen for returns), so staff doesn't have to do the cumbersome, branch-by-branch return process in Request Manager.
Thanks!

Ability to move rows in the Item Statistical Class Code policy table
It would be helpful if we could move rows up and down in the item statistical class code policy table. We have librarians transferring items between branches that have statistical class codes in them. The codes will automatically change to a different code when assigned to the new branch because the position of the code in the policy table does not align. The cataloger must remember to update that field to the correct code.
This would be beneficial to our librarians, simplify their workflow, and prevent errors.

Add Title & Suffix to PAPI PatronRegistrationCreate2 & Update2
It would be helpful to be able to create or update, via PAPI, patron registration records with the Title and Suffix fields populated. Currently, there is no way to ingest this information when using custom registration forms that utilize PAPI to create patron records.

Additional dynamic filter options in Simply Reports
In Simply Reports, some filter menus do not populate options until a library/branch is chosen (i.e. Shelf Location, Stat Code, Statistical Class). This is helpful for consortia because the menus only become populated with the options available at each selected branch(es), keeping the options to a manageable size.
We would like to see this dynamic menu functionality applied to the Collection, Material Type, and Patron Code filters as well.
Currently, our consortium has 55 Material Types, 57 Patron Codes, and 284 Collections to choose from in these menus, which becomes quite overwhelming for users and involves A LOT of tedious…

Ad hoc Patron Bulk Changes From Find Tool
Similar to the change in 7.6 for Item Changes, it would be beneficial to be able to make the ad hoc changes to patron records. Our libraries could easily change their Juvenile patrons to Adult patrons using the Find tool.

Allow libraries to customize info displayed in Leap Patron Record header and properties
We need a way to bring perennial critical patron info to staff attention without creating blocks for customers or forcing staff to open the full patron registration. Having this info in the patron record header or properties would be ideal. For example: at our library, customer registered at branch is not critical info yet it is the most prominent value displayed in the header after name and card number, if we could designate UDF values to take it's place (such as bookmobile stop or language assist needed) or have space to reveal a designated UDF value under patron properties, it…
