Add edition statement to results list in find tool and duplicates list
The edition statement should be added to the results list in the find tool and the duplicate detection results. The edition statement is already visible to patrons in the brief display of the records in the results list in the PowerPAC. When staff need to search by title or deduplicate records, they need to look at each record to identify the record for the correct edition. If the edition statement were added to the table that displays the results, they could identify the correct records in a more efficient manner.

Allow volume level AND item level requests
We were told that in order to activate volume level requests in the PAC and in Vega, we would have to turn off the ability for item level requests to be placed, since it's an either or setting (see attached). However, we need to be able to offer our patrons both options. In the case of volume level requests, we can't have patrons getting a random volume that they might not even want when they place a title level hold. Since we also have patrons that use item level requesting, we can't just turn that off in favor of volume…

Navigate neighboring results without returning to results list
When I browse in the PAC (specifically, by call number) it provides a list of call numbers. I can choose one, and am brought to it. But, if I want to look at the neighboring items, I have to "Go back to Browse Results" and select the next one from the list. It would be much easier to arrow back/forward between results without returning to the results list.

Expose web-based System Administration APIs
For larger library systems that need to continually create new staff members, being able to access the APIs would be a big time saver. That would allow, among other things, to automate that task.

Weeding template criteria should include Last circ date option
In our consortium, libraries weed items based on their circulation almost exclusively, not based on how new or old they are or how many lifetime circs they had. The most important piece of information to them, the Last circ date, however, is missing from the weeding template criteria. We are aware that you can add dates to the power search for inclusion criteria, but those have to be specific dates, so they can't be reused as criteria several months or years later - you'd have to continue remaking the criteria with new dates each time, which isn't convenient or efficient.…

Increase visibility of Reading History feature in PAC
A consistent piece of feedback we get from front-line staff is that patrons struggle to find where to turn on Reading History and that they themselves often forget where it is located. Having it buried within "My Record"-->"Contact Information and Preferences" and having to scroll down to it apparently is not effective. Having the "Reading History" tab always visible under the patron's name on the left-hand menu would be more effective, instead of having it only appear once Reading History has already been turned on.

Make the Icons on Leap Bigger for Accessibility
Being a visual learner it is complicated to go from the icons in Polaris being a much larger size and being in color to what is shown in Leap. The icons in Leap are much smaller and have no color to differentiate them. For the sake of Accessibility purposes is there any way that the icons can be bigger and to add a pop of color to them in Leap. Attached are pictures of the icons in Polaris from the toolbar vs Leap.

Include patron preferences such as billing notifications in PAPI patron update/create
The Jacksonville Public Library leverages the Polaris API to manage student records. Currently we have to take an extra step in the LEAP UI to set the communication preferences. We don't bill students or send their accounts to collections, so we have to do a bulk update of all the records with the UI after already touching every record with the API. This is cumbersome because there are over 100,000 student records that need to be updated. Most updates are smaller, but at the start of the school year we do a full refresh.
We would like to be able…

Make patron name copy-able in from Leap patron account header
Library staff regularly have need to copy a customer's name from their Leap patron record into our room reservation system. Currently you cannot copy the name displayed in the leap patron record header but you can copy the barcode directly below. Clicking into registration isn't helpful as a copy option the name info is in separate fields.

Ability to Bulk Un-Delete Bib Records in record set
In the Polaris client (we're on 7.6) we would love to be able to un-delete "half-deleted" bib records (any in "Delete" status).
We receive a monthly report of "Bibs without Item Records" for final weeding and we're finding many "half-deleted" bibs where staff have deleted the final copy on a record and clicked "delete" in the pop-up instead of "suppress from PAC".
We would like to be able to bulk change these Delete-status records back to Final so we can extra needed marc data (OCLC #s, primarily) and then properly double-delete them.

Weeding template "older than" criteria should be based on first available date not creation date
To truly determine whether an item is "older than" a certain time frame for the weeding criteria in our consortium, it should be based on First available date, not Creation date. Many of our libraries add the item record when the item is ordered, which could be months before it actually releases, and they make the status either Being Acquired or In-Process until it's received and checked in, which updates its First available date at that point. Then the item actually begins its "life span" so to speak. So the item isn't truly "older than" a certain time frame until…

Ability to put an ILL back on hold for a patron.
Occasionally, we have an issue where an ILL has been checked out to a patron, checked back in, and needs to be put back on hold for a patron. But there is not an option to in the system. For example, in the linked images, the patron thought there was something wrong with the ILL, returned it, and we were going to reorder it. But we realized what the issue was after it had been checked back in. We were not able to replace the hold on the item showing available. We even went in to the item record to…

Reverting to what the bibliographic record (or any authority record for that matter) was when it was last saved
When you want to get rid of a bunch of edits, but only the ones made since the last save, it saves time to have just one button to click on. For example, when you want to validate juvenile headings, you need to take out |v Fiction for each heading. If they are all good, you want it back in each heading.

Ability to Undo Record Merge
This undo function would provide the ability to separate two records that were accidentally combined so they go back to being attached to their original, individual POs, have their original items attached, and have their original hold lists attached.
Example: If a regular print record and a large print record for a title with a list of holds on each were accidentally combined, catalogers would have to split the large print items out by creating a second record and move the appropriate “on order” items to that record. The newly created record wouldn’t be able to be linked back to…

Add ability to remove vendors
We have a long list of vendors and would like to clean it up, removing any who we no longer purchase from. This can't be done because of the links and layers in Acquisitions to attached purchase orders and invoices. It would help with clutter if there was a way to delete these suppliers or hide them in some way.

Fund Hierarchy Report
Currently, the fund hierarchy report organizes at the Organization level by Org ID. This means that as new organization levels are added they drop to the bottom of the list, and I'm often looking at this from an alphabetical perspective. It would be helpful to have the option to organize the output alphabetically instead.
