Cache Busting for Theme CSS File
When the theme's scss file is edited and compiled, the version parameter on the stylesheet link in the HTML does not update. This means that browsers don't know to pull the updated css from the server if they have it cached, so the css updates won't apply for all users immediately due to browser caching. Here's an example of the line in the HTML with the version parameter:
<link type="text/css" rel=""https://yourlibrary.org/polaris/custom/themes/theme1/site.css?ver=7.1.14157.0">
It looks like the version parameter is based on the Polaris version, so I'm guessing it's automatically updated whenever Polaris is upgraded, but that doesn't help for theme adjustments…

Create Bib Record Set by uploading file of Control #s
In LEAP, please add the ability for a user to create a bibliographic record set from a file of ISBNs or Control Numbers..

Stop Hold being Trapped that Cannot be Checked Out by Material Type Limit of Zero
I propose that if the patron limitation is zero for a material type check out then the item will not be trapped for the patron. They will stay on the top of the holds list until an item that does not have a material type of zero for that patron type is checked in and trapped. Thus making the material type check out limit of zero a true material type block.

Take free days into account when recording check-in date in item history
Hi there! We just had a situation with a patron where several items they returned in the book drop on 6/30 were checked in today 7/5, however they were back-dated to accommodate for the days the library was closed and prevent fees from accruing. But upon viewing the history in Leap for each of those items, the check-in date displays as 7/5 and does NOT show the 5 days back-date, which would've been 6/30. Prevent patron registration date from being deleted
I'm repeatedly finding instances where a patron is missing their registration date. At first, I thought it was migrated data, but after updating those records, I discovered it happening over and over. Please prevent the registration date from being deleted.

Make Secure Patron more functional
All use of Secure patron when customer has checkouts, holds, etc.
The secure patron function in Leap does almost exactly what we need for what we call suspended patrons (those not allowed on library property) - it blocks a customer's record and provides a clear, visual indicator that the account has been secured.
I can't use it though and had to create a workaround to accomplish much the same thing because Secure Patron is only an option when the patron has no account activity. This makes no sense and renders the function unusable.

Select multiple branches more easily in LEAP find tool.
In the Find Tool, allow users to filter by a library organization's branches by selecting a library 'quick pick' option. This would eliminate the need for a system used by multiple libraries to click each branch associated with their organization.

In the Find Tool, in order to filter a search for an item with an assigned branch within our library organization, we are required to select the checkbox next to each branch from the drop-down menu. Leap Check Out Button Label Receipt and add Button to Close without Receipt
In Leap relabel the current submit Close button to Receipt. Add an additional button next to it called Close that that would close the record check out the material but would not generate a paper receipt print dialog box etc.

Polaris API Making Lists Sortable By Title
A customer contacted us recently and asked if we could possibly add a feature where lists can be sorted alphabetically by title. Since this functionality isn't currently available in the API, I wonder if it could be added?

Purge Settings for Report Files in SimplyReports
We'd like added the ability to purge report downloads from SimplyReports that are sitting in user folders. This would include deleting ad hoc report, scheduled report, and saved report extracts from their respective user folders after a specified number of days.
Currently these settings are listed under the Admin section of SimplyReports, but we only found out recently there is no process tied to the settings. We'd like to see this functionality built. Details about their unavailability can be found in the SimplyReports help article "Set the general application defaults" (bottom).

Improve functionality of credits on patron accounts
We had a staff member let us know that they had a credit on their personal account and they found the process of dealing with the credit to be a little frustrating. The credit did not automatically apply to their other fees and there was no way for them (as a patron) to tell the system to apply the credits. The only option was for the patron to get in touch with staff to have this taken care of. This would give the patrons more flexibility for managing their account.

Notification when last copy goes to withdrawn
I often get requests to have a pop-up for staff when last copy, or more especially a last copy with a hold, gets put into a status like withdrawn, missing, etc. It could provide a big head's up to selectors so they could preemptively tackle.

Search Results Page number options
Patrons don't have much options when paging through many pages of search results and have requested the ability to navigate through page numbers. As an example, if there are 100 page results, patrons can only go to next page, last page, first page or previous page. They want to be able to manually enter a page number (for example page 72) to go to that page of results. Switching to total results per page default from 10 to 100 doesn't help with a large number of results.

Return additional elements in the PAPI PatronValidate method
We use ChargeBalance, StatisticalClassID and BirthDate with 3rd party vendors to verify if our patrons are eligible to use licensed resources. Currently if I have a 3rd party vendor use PAPI to auth our patrons I would have to have them use PatronBasicDataGet to access this data which also returns personal information I do not want them to have access too. If ChargeBalance, StatisticalClassID and BirthDate were added to PatronValidate then the 3rg party vendors would not have unnecessary access to the full patron record. Clarity in the "available now" facet in PowerPAC for consortium libraries
When conducting a PowerPAC search using the "limit by" feature to select one's home library and combining that with the "available now" facet, the implication is that only the items at one's home library will show up. That is not the case, as available items at all consortium libraries display in the results. Although it is possible to achieve the desired results by selecting the local library under the "assigned branch" facet, this is not very intuitive for library patrons.

Remove Branch Requirement from Patron Bulk Change
Allow bulk change to all fields in the bulk change workform when the record set contains patrons from more than one registered branch. Currently, the system requires that a single registration branch must be applied to the patron records before changing the patron code and/or the library assigned blocks. These values are set at the branch level; however, most libraries use consistent patron codes and blocks across branches.

Improve Report Downloads From SimplyReports
SimplyReports offers only one format when downloading the results of a report, and that is a questionably formatted xls file that always throws a warning when opening in Microsoft Excel. Microsoft left the xls format behind almost 15 years ago when they launched the xlsx format in Excel 2007. Automate lost card number request via email option in PAC
Automate lost barcode number requests. The simple way to achieve this is to offer this option below "Forgot your password" on the PAC login screen. The user clicks this and is asked to enter in the email address connected to the account in addition to first and last name. The patron associated with that name and email address would receive an email with the barcode. If the patron does not have an email on the account, or the wrong email address is entered, the user receives an error message.
