API reading history sortable by title or last added
We have had multiple patron requests to be able to sort reading history delivered by API by latest added or by title. Currently reading history is displayed with the oldest first which results in a lot of scrolling by the user.

Add electronic signature option to online registration
We are interested in going paperless and no longer using registration cards but we would still like to collect patron signatures. Can Leap/Polaris allow for electronic signature collection?

Provide direct link to item record from hold request in Leap
It's currently very easy to see handling details for received INN-Reach and Item level local holds in hold shelf status from the hold request in Leap (by clicking Satisfied By). In these cases, only the item that has filled the request appears. It is NOT at all easy to get to these details for other hold shelf and hold in transit items that originated with a bib-level hold request. Allow library to exclude certain material types from Claim Return function
Polaris' claim return function is great for locally-owned items but is problematic with INN-Reach. We are constantly reminding staff NOT to use Claim Return for INN-Reach items because it can break transaction links but they continue to do so. If system admin allowed us to exclude our INN-Reach and WorldCat material types from Claim Return and Claim Missing Part functions, it would reduce errors significantly.

Run date specific report on Patron activity (not last activity)
I would like to submit the idea that Polaris offers the ability to run a report based on patron activity dates, and not their LAST activity date.
Currently, we can only run a report using "Last Activity". This is not helpful if trying to determine how many patrons were active in a given period because if they have had activity after the specified period, they would no longer be counted in the report.
There is a canned report under System > statistical summary, but it only looks at borrows, and would not count ILS card activity such as from a…15 votes -

Tab session visibility is unclear, leading to records being locked unknowingly by users.

Publication pattern template creation in Leap
Please add in the ability to create and edit publication pattern templates within Leap. As my consortium shifts to using only Leap, I am discovering small things that seem to be missing, which make it difficult for staff to fully switch over to Leap. One of those things is the ability to create a publication pattern template. As of version 7.8, this is something that still has to be done in the toolbar (https://documentation.iii.com/polaris/7.8/Default.htm#PolarisStaffHelp/Serials/PSsetup/Creating_Publication_Pattern_Templates.htm). You can use publication pattern templates within Leap, but you can't currently create a new one or edit existing ones.

Replicate LEAP column setting customizations in the client
Cataloging staff using the client have to resize the columns of the find tool results every time they search bibs and items. They also would like to be able to add and remove columns from their default searches. In LEAP, they can add and remove columns and LEAP remembers when they resize a column. This functionality in the client would save them steps.

Add pickup area support to SimplyReports
You cannot output or filter on Hold Pickup Areas in SimplyReports. Not being able to report on them limits their usefulness for things like looking at which schools are busiest or which bookmobile stops are most active. The information is available in hold request data and in transaction details.
Although we can add it as a custom output that will only show the ID which is of limited value to staff.

Links to Public Access Catalogs from Leap Item Records
In Leap, links to web-based public access catalogs are only available through bib records. It would be convenient if they can also be made accessible through item records.

Add Items to a Record set from Patron's Hold List
Cataloging staff use staff cards to request items in for call number changes or various projects. It would be helpful for them to be able to add those items into a Record Set for bulk changes directly from the patron record Hold list, in lieu of individually from the item records.

"Today" on Date Picker
When using the date picker, we'd love an option to select "Today" and have it set the date automatically for us. When updating really old cards, it can be a pain to have to select a date with the picker when we have to change every field. Typing is limited in its ability to be a workaround, because it requires specific formatting in order to work.

Add eReceipts as an option in LX Starter.
The only option for eReceipts is plain text. It would be a fantastic feature to customers to be able to build a nice HTML email for them.

Include perioidical issue information in overdue notices
We had a patron complaint that the email notices do not include magazine issue information, only the main title. The notices also do not include item barcodes, so there isn't any data to match against a specific issue. Could information from the Issue field in the item record be displayed in overdue notices?

Add granularity to One-Click Request feature
We recently had a location close for a few weeks for a construction project. During that time, we turned it off as a holds pickup option in the PAC. However, patrons who were logged into their accounts and had that location as their default holds pickup location could still place holds for pickup at that location using One-Click. The only way to completely stop patrons placing holds for pickup at our closed location was to disable One-Click completely. PAC Header URL
Currently, when a user clicks on the library’s logo in the PAC header, we can specify a URL that opens. However, when they click it, the URL defaults to opening in the same page rather than in a new tab, causing the user to lose their PAC page and possibly their search results.
It would be helpful to have a branch-level option to change that default to open a new tab instead. It could be included with the other configuration options under Profiles > PowerPAC > Page Header Options in System Administration.

Ad hoc Patron Bulk Changes From Find Tool
Similar to the change in 7.6 for Item Changes, it would be beneficial to be able to make the ad hoc changes to patron records. Our libraries could easily change their Juvenile patrons to Adult patrons using the Find tool.

Allow Different Email Times for Different Branches
It would be nice to have the ability to set different email notice schedules for each branch.
