Weeding template criteria should include Last circ date option
In our consortium, libraries weed items based on their circulation almost exclusively, not based on how new or old they are or how many lifetime circs they had. The most important piece of information to them, the Last circ date, however, is missing from the weeding template criteria. We are aware that you can add dates to the power search for inclusion criteria, but those have to be specific dates, so they can't be reused as criteria several months or years later - you'd have to continue remaking the criteria with new dates each time, which isn't convenient or efficient.…

Show warning dialog before deleting reading history
In the patron registration form in LEAP there is a reading history checkbox. If the patron has a reading history, clearing the checkbox and saving the record deletes that reading history permanently, and there is no warning to staff about what clearing the checkbox actually does. On clearing the checkbox, please add a warning dialog that says, "This patron's reading history will be permanently deleted. Please confirm that you want to delete it." Convert Item Holds to First Available Copy Holds
Create a way to convert an Item specific (not Volume specific) hold request to a First Available request. To often staff create a hold for a patron from the Item Find Tool and create the request for that specific item which usually delays the fulfillment of that request.

Allow for creating links to bib records from within an authority record
This might be coming in 8.0 - it's not on the roadmap, but maybe it's too small to feature there. In the Polaris client, within an authority record, there is an option to create links to bib records (see attached screenshot). This same functionality should also be included in Leap in order for cataloguers to fully switch over to Leap.

duplicate field detection
Within the bibliographic record, occasionally there are duplicate fields. We need a way to easily detect them, especially with bibs upon bibs that are merged. We end up with a ton of duplicate 035 fields.

Picklist Sorting Default
When sorting by a column, then choosing an item and hitting located, it resets the sort back to the default.
This is not ideal at our larger locations who may be pulling dozens of items at a time.

Utilities - Reports and Notices in the staff client need to be available in Leap
We have a number of custom reports in the Polaris Staff Client that need to be accessible to our Circulation Staff in Leap. Ideally all Polaris canned reports should also be available to all staff in Leap. One custom report we use is for patrons who don't have an email address. Their notification option is set to mailing address. However, if they have a hold we call them instead of sending the hold notice by mail. Allow bib bulk change steps to be applied to import profiles
Imagine the possibilities if we could automate the process of bulk changes to bib records as part of an import profile.
Other ILS systems offer robust manipulation of bib records upon import, but this is missing from Polaris.
By allowing bib bulk changes to be stored in templates, just like item bulk changes, we can streamline the process and save valuable time. Imagine having a set of predefined steps for importing bibs from specific sources or of certain record types. It would ensure consistency and accuracy, eliminating manual effort.

Remove records from one record set that are in another record set or in an Excel file
It's great being able to bulk-add records to a record set, but it would also be helpful to be able to bulk-remove records from a record set based on either another record set, or an Excel file.
Today in larger record sets it can be a pain to remove a medium to large amount of records. Our staff may work with 10,000+ entry record sets, and need to remove records meeting certain criteria that isn't visible in the fields when viewing a record set. Show branch and barcode for item-level holds in Leap
Our Cataloging staff frequently have to place item-level holds on multiple items from the same bib record when making updates to the collection. Currently in Leap, these holds display in the patron's account with only the title, format, and call number. From this information it is impossible to tell which specific items have been placed on hold. Including the barcode and the assigned branch of the item would make it easier to tell different item-level holds apart when the items all have the same title.

Ability to bulk change item templates
Currently, there is no way in the UI to bulk change item templates. They need to be edited one at a time. It would be great if these could be bulk changed just like item records.

Option to tell customer if they have already read a title
An option added in the patron registration that turns on a "loan tracking" feature. When checking out books, if this feature is turned on, then when a barcode is scanned that the patron has already borrowed a message comes up to let the patron know they have already read this title.
Would check at a bib level (so not just the actual item that is scanned, but any bib that item is associated with). Should be based on what is in the reading history of the account. Would need enhancement for serial issues, as the reading history currently only advises…32 votes -
"Patron has holds" popup when check out workform OPENS instead of when first item is scanned
We are upgrading to 7.7 and have just decided to NOT turn on the new feature that suppresses non-blocking 'blocks' such as the 'patron has holds' popup block.

SimplyReports: Add "Not Present" option for Shelf Locations
In the Item reports, some general filters categories, such as Stat Code, have a Not Present option. This allows staff to report by Collection Code or Material Type and exclude unwanted Stat Codes. It would be helpful to have the same option to exclude Shelf Locations.

Add a "Display Password" option when resetting patron password
When using the "Reset Password" option on a patron's account, it would be very useful to have a checkbox option to display the password that is being typed instead of a series of dots. By obscuring the password when typing we have found that our staff may accidentally leave caps lock on or type something incorrect - they would like the option to see what they are typing in these fields. patron barcode change workflow to automatically populate "former barcode" field
It would be great to have a way in Leap to change the patron barcode and have it auto populate the "Former Barcode" field in a single step. Perhaps a button could be added underneath "Reset Password" for "Replace Barcode" that simply prompts the staff member to scan a new barcode number. Leap would then move the existing barcode to the "Former Barcode" field, and then populate the Barcode field will the newly provided number. Help us save a few steps! Thanks for the consideration.

Weeding Record Sets need to have Picklist Functionality
Currently, when we turn over weeding lists to staff to pull, they manually mark 'not on shelf - NOS' if they don't find the item. In order to make the new weeding list functional in LEAP, we need the weeding record sets to have the same sort of functionality as a PickList - a column where staff can either mark the item as 'Not Found' or "missing". Ideally the circulation status could be changed to missing at this point, removing the need to manually change these items in the system and remove them from the record set.
